Didja know that Hobbs has a randomly-generated appearance every time you start a new game? Everyone's always "Gramps" this and "old man" that but he always looks like he's 32 in my games.

This sets Hobbs' initial appearance to what you see in the screenshot. Not nearly as comically decrepit as Crumblejon, but more worthy of a rambling old drunk lunatic you scooped up from a bar in the middle of nowhere.

NOTE: He won't be as muscled as the pics when you find him, this Hobbs has leveled his stats a bit, so he'll look even more the part when you meet him. Also he'll have his default clothes, I didn't change his starting gear.

That's all. Made for my own amusement, thought I'd share it.

MOAR UPDATE: Unique NPCs adds a dozen (so far!) new unique, custom appearances for recruits and NPCs that were either random like Hobbs or just average-slider-boring:

Oddly the sleeveless dustcoat he spawns with (I think that's the name) clips through pretty much any pants he wears, not sure how to fix that

Thank you for the description on how you made this mod! Did you have to do anything special when you uploaded it to steam? I have a bunch of personal mods that have unique chrs but I when I upload them the unique skin isn't attached. Would love to know how you did it!!!! :beeped:

It's funnier tho if you think of Hobbs at 32 being an "old man" because the life expectancy on Kenshi is so short. Thumbs up regardless :P
