It automatically puts on EMG parachutes. Even after I shut the button off.

Incredible. Solid and stable with a small cab - I also use it as an autopiloted shuttle. As others have noted, make sure to toggle the connector to "On" for the container you wish to grab. Take advantage of the bed for long trips. I would love to see an onboard coordinate display and perhaps a time/fuel consumption to destination in future updates, if possible. Note that just one time my container grazed a mountain and it survived but had to reset.

It hates to hold altitude

When I spawn this in my career, it drains fuel from my base but doesn't have any fuel in it. I had to set the fuel spawners to 0 and fill it myself.

Probably just a game bug. Other than that, your creation is amazing!

i stand corrected, it is not lightning, my 5th one just hit a tree while trying to return from a run, just buggy autopilot i think

come to think of it, maybe a gyro would work? It getting struck isnt really the issue, its that it tends to fall forward and slam into the ground

I don't normally Comment on creations like this, but I just had to come in here and tell you all that this is one of the coolest things I've come across in the workshop, and I appreciate so much all your work on it!

If there werent the acsessability issues of the keypads this creation could haul multiple containers

Yeah I used the keep alive block but it didn’t have any effect. Maybe it just wasn’t working before and they patched it since the last time I tried using it. Hats off to this extremely awesome build my friend. I’m in the process of building a control center in a train car so I can coordinate and keep track of several Buzz drones delivering containers. Thinking about just incorporating my idea of autonomously buying & selling diesel using your creation. I think it would work very well once it’s set up. I won’t post any modded versions of your drone in the workshop without permission.

The keep-alive block or whatever its called prevents that issue.

i just curious do you have to stay with it when its flying to its destination? i made a drone that will automatically fly to the jet fuel location and fill up then it automatically takes off when its full and flies to the selling location, lands, and sells the fuel all by itself but it only works if im within a certain distance from it. if i get too far away it just stops for some reason. do you have this problem with this drone?

I would like it to go faster but it is limited by the pivots. The tilting rotors can't really handle higher speed without becoming unstable. You can alter the PIDs and limits inside the Lua blocks if you want to try.
