Oh sure, as long as it's simple to do. I'll assume fracken adds some, and I'll look at some mods that specialize in adding critters.

Likely, perhaps I later I can make one like this, that changes those to assistant? That protects them from more stuff.

TIAS contains 3 patches for changing the damage team type of deadbeatscrounger, frogvillager and shadowvillager to friendily. This mod changes none of those, and as fas as I could tell from testing works well with them.

Not sure, i'll test it in a little while and see.
