When I'm designing characters, I want to make mechanics intuitive and avoid things that can't be explained with a few lines of text in the info boxes.
New valk is the same weight as old valk, they're just more survivable and maneuverable due to their smaller size. They look a lot better, their moves flow together in a more comfortable way, and the mechanics were distilled down to their core components. I think that the new valkyrie is a great indicator of how much I improved as a creator between 2019 and 2020.
