@Constantinus: it's flagged as outdated because I didn't change the version number since, well... a while! But it should work just fine. However, there are large parts of the game that are uncovered, as I haven't updated it in a while. But I've seen what the newest version of Topaz is capable of and I'm considering to redo it from scratch!

I played a lot of the Northern Lords pack but I haven't started working on the update yet, I'll be doing it in the next few days.
The mod is still working though, it just doesn't includes NL art yet.

This looks great on the paintings used for holdings and event backgrounds and stuff like that, but unfortunately the smaller icons and things like cultural innovations end up looking worse than the originals due to the over-sharpening of the upscaling.

The CIUI mod does not change the events_window icons but just uses some of them as replacements for the icons on the character screen. This mod increases the size of the icons and causes some misalignment. Not the fault of either mod - just happens.

I just delete the event_window folder from this mod and both work fine together.

@Queeg: have you tried giving CIUI a higher priority than LUP? It usually fixes most mod incompatibilites of that sort.

Latest version is not compatible with the CIUI mod. Some of the icons in the in the mod character screen (right-hand side in vanilla; top of character screen in mod) are misaligned. I think the conflict is in some of the event-window icons. Removing that folder from this mod corrects the problem.

Yes, this mod is primarily aimed at 1440p & 2160p screen owners. I think artworks were exported for the final game with 1080p screens in mind (as this is still the most widespread resolution to this day), hence the differences being almost nonexistant on your end.
This mod doesn't bring needed changes to the game, in fact it's perfectly unnecessary - unless you belong to the small percentage of PC players whose wish is to stand on the cutting edge of graphics enhancement at all times. If you're one of them, this mod is for you. But it's far from being a necessary gameplay enhancement.

I mean from the images linked, I am using 1080p screen maybe it is for 4k screens ? the biggest difference is the Early Medieval Era image where the first one is blurry while your mod makes it super nice looking and clear

@412345123214: if by "the rest" you mean "terrain textures" and / or "cloth textures", it's because they aren't upscaled yet as I still haven't found out how to properly mod them. But I'm actively researching how to do so!

The issue is fixed! It don't exactly know what caused this, as the faulty files are most likely unused in the base game. They are now removed, the mod works as intended and filesize was cut by 100Mb!

Thanks for the notice, I'm investigating this issue right now! In the meantime, I temporarily rolled the mod back to the previous, lighting-bug-free version.

Yes, the game has definitely lost it's vibrancy with version 1.04 of the mod. This is especially obvious when using the Fullscreen Barbershop mod with this one. Strange, as only graphic files are used in this mod... No lighting or saturation config files...

I'm not sure exactly what's causing the issue, but with this mod enabled there are very dark shadows obscuring the lower halves of character portraits.

Check your folders, seems you didn't move the converted files up to the root level. Take a look, you'll see, for example the men_at_arms_small section.

@Kratos Coach: as stated in the description, I'm going to add the remaning clothes left out of 1.0, and then try to upscale terrain textures (maybe as a separate Workshop entry though, as the filesize would otherwise skyrocket).
