This mod causes problems with the personal character menu (when you click on your portrait in the lower left). Where it should say subjects, it has a different string, and the family tab brings up the subjects tab - you can't access the family tab at all.

Used process of elimination to reduce it to this mod.

This mod does messes up the character screen, making it hard to actually see or click on anything. I just wanted to mention that in case anyone else has this problem

I think this conflicts with EK2 slightly. It works, but blocks out a magicka widget.

Hello, with the update to the "Rename Children" mod on 2/10, the mod no longer works correctly with CK3 1.4.4. No character names are shown in the interface at all, it's just blank. Is it possible for the mod to be compatible with 1.4.4 and 1.5.x ?

Can you allow it to name great-grandchildren? You eventually get herculean and the octogenarian dynasty trait so I regularly have grandchildren I can't rename.

I've uploaded an alternate version which lets you rename anyone. I don't want to have that feature included on this mod, which intends to remain more true to the CK3 renaming limitations.

The alternate version uses the same hook as this, so you won't need to update your mod at all.

appears you need to patch this as it corrupt court background in game since version 1.1.1

It seems you can't use this on yourself? I like this as an always-on mod unlike the ones that let you rename anybody and is annoyingly in the right click menu all the time. It would be helpful to enable it for yourself for those edge cases where you take over as a child and didn't rename under the previous ruler.

I imagine they will add a button at some point - it was a popular addition in CK2 after all.

Hopefully this'll become obsolete in the near future. Unlike some other gamedevs (cough cough, Bethesda), Paradox actually seem to be at least mostly pro-active about fixing/adding things like this. Unofficial patches Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim style doesn't seem to be such a needed thing here, thankfully!
