@Col. Hathi For what it is worth, Meaningful Crime Alternative has just been updated for 3.0 (but don't jump on quite yet, still some followup changes to do before I consider truly "prime time")

Uhh, no, it wouldn't be. Whoever's behind Stefan's made a new mod for 2.8.*, and it's not clear to me what they've changed and updated in that one, and I've also seen comments saying that it breaks some things, so I'm actually not planning on updating this until they make their changes more obvious and less "breaky".

Just an FYI: I have seen your message, @Uix62. I'll look at it later. Sorry it's taking a bit.

I noticed a weird compatibility issue that this patch seemed to miss. I asked the Meaningful Crime author about the issue first since they have recently been implementing content from Stefan's mod, and they replied saying they couldn't fix the issue since Stefan's mod does not create a global flag indicating its presence. I figured I would mention it here to see if it's something that could be fixed by a compat patch. Here is the issue:

"The Robot Assembly buildings are modified by the balance mod to double the number of roboticist jobs it provides, but half the pop assembly points each job provides (essentially requiring two pops to achieve the same effect). Strangely, when [the crime] mod is also added, the number of jobs are still doubled, but the productivity of each of those jobs function the same as vanilla."
