I think it also needs to control pitch

does it work with coaxial helicopter?

No credit needed

do i need to credit you if i upload a creation with it to the workshop?

Here is one with trim and pitch control included.

I could upload a version with trim and pitch control if you would like.

I only installed this on a regular helicopter. It only controls the yaw because I made a separate controller for the pitch I believe. With the new rotors in the game you need to have an adjustable trim in the autopilot as well.

Hold up are you installing this on a gyrocopter?
(Do you have a different engine pushing you forward independent from the rotor blades... Ok it might be the same engine but the point is you get the majority of your speed from NOT your rotor blades?)

what do you connect the forward throttle and steering to

When you click on the microcontroller with the select tool there should be an option to reduce sensitivity. You could try turning on 20% sensitivity and increase if it's not sensitive enough. I had to decrease the sensitivity this way as well on one of my heavier helicopters that had a similar problem. If that still does not fix the issue the second internal PID controller would need to be adjusted. Let me know if you have tried reducing the sensitivity and if it does not fix it I can adjust the PID if you would like.

Is there a way to make this thing less sensetive?
It seems like it wants to either do a -1 or a 1 input on my jaw until it reaches the GPS bearing, but this just makes my chopper rock to the left and right uncontrollably because everytime it slightly passes the mark it will put full input on either Yaw direction, am i doing anything wrong?

I didn't include pitch in the autopilot in case you would prefer to manually control the pitch, but I do have another microcontroller for automatic pitch
Doc.Fishi 2020 年 9 月 3 日 上午 10:47
There is no pitch in- and output

Sounds good, looking forward to it!

Great! I'll post a link here when done.

External reset connects to the autopilot on/off button external input so that it will toggle off automatically once you reach the waypoint. It's not required though, you would just have to turn it off manually. That would be great if you use it, I definitely want to see your microcontroller once you have it ready!

Also, I would like to put part of this in an auto rescue microcontroller that I'm making. You would get credit.
etzabo 2020 年 8 月 31 日 下午 7:18
What does the external reset do?
