Q: Is this crafting recipe for Shield Core unlocked from a research project that needs to be completed first?

I ask because this was not mentioned in the description or comments.

Can we have rechargeable broad shield complimenting this mod ? or broad shielded recon armor with heavy chemfuel cost for each pop ?

still it need to me in vanilla version becouse with mods when it gets to late game i get 200 people raids and half of them have this shields so it makes game impossible to win on highest difficulty

@Herald Rejn thank you for your feedback! your offer sounds resonable, so now it costs 50 plasteel and 3 advanced components, it also needs 15 crafting skill (and still needs 6 intellectual skill)

they are pretty strong and its just win if you have few of them make them cost 50plasteel and 4 advanced components maybe.
