Coronation Decisions are now fixed. The Inheritance is mainly due to the small amount of characters arround.

For some reason I couldn't get a coronation, go on a pilgrimage, and repeated for my sins to remove excommunication. Leading to it somewhat being unplayable because everyone will hate me after awhile. May have just been a problem for Milan only seeing how I only played them. Also I kept inheriting cities and temples for some reason.

You may want to take a look at the Mountain troops of Tibet for some inspiration. Mountain Warfare is its own thing and those troops tend to feature lighter units but they hit way above their weight class due to morale being hard to weaken. The stamina and endurance capacity of those troops is pretty much at the peak of what can be done and that makes what appears to be light opponents to be just the opposite. There should be a ZOC for them in the mountains so any enemy getting next to them has all supplies cut off, since that is the specialty of MW troops. Expensive to get and maintain, but if you need that hitting power, there is nothing like them.

@Juke Yes I'm planning to do that together with the playable Monastery Update. The Holy Sites for Judaism, and Catholic Heresies will be updated with the next small fix update.

Because the Map is catholic only I would suggest some things to "spice up" religion a bit: 1. unsure if this is in yet, but catholic heresies need holy sites 2. add germanic pagan/ hellenic pagan holy sites for a pagan revival run (give romano-lombards the option to delve into the classics i.e. revive hellenism) 3. add jewish holy sites, since landless jews are spawned by the game randomly

havent tested catholic heresies yet but did you remember to add holy sites?

There are currently some issues with loading a save(CTD). I'm working on a fix I'll push it together with some more hotfixes.
