Very cool, was absolute fun to play
Puzzles, animated sequences and decent battles. Music is well chosen and fits the scenes.
The mines almost got me - well placed.
Final battle could have been a bit more of a challenge (but that's probably just me) - thinking about some manhacks from the sides occasionally and another opening for Combines.

This was a lot of fun and I can't say I ran into any real bugs. I did have minor framerate issues in the very beginning and occasionally during the final battle, but aside from that, I think the map was well crafted all around. I recorded a video here: https://youtu.be/QE53HRvjnM0

Strider boss fight? COOL SOUNDS LIKE PTSD.

Excellent map! Loads of variety and totally unexpected encounters. The final boss match was imaginative in it's concept, really had me ducking and diving!

Yeah, I think that might be true. I'm not best at graphics. Maybe I'll figure something out. Thanks again

@Neon I could tell you put a lot of effort in and I think that maybe its just the maps profile picture that is the reason more people haven't subscribed? I hope you don't mind my suggestions but I think capitalizing both words as well as using a more pronounced font will draw people in. Also I think generally people see vortigaunt on the workshop and think it'll be more of an experience (like vortigaunt's kitchen) or something small and not a fun map with good combat like you have here. If you look at paradox's most recent map the icon and font really draw you in. Also may be good to take the most exciting or unique looking part of your map and making that the picture people see (whatever will draw them in the most) . Hope these suggestions help you in getting the subscribers you deserve :)

Thanks, really! I spend some time on it and to be honest, I am a little bit disappointed at how it was recieved (or how it actually didn't). Thanks again for your feedback:steamhearteyes:

This map is criminally underrated! I enjoyed it from start to finish. The lighting was very well done bravo for that I especially liked the red and green lighting right after you climb over the broken down sewer grate! Nice boss fight at the end that was exhilarating! Great pacing as well- there were really no dull moments. Good work on adding the green zappy things that you use at the end of the normal campaign, they're so much fun to shoot out of your hands and I hope more maps start using them! Very high level of detail as well, I could tell you spent time making sure the map felt alive with all the props/posters/small things!

By far the least scuffed Xen trip I've seen in an Alyx map. The boss battle at the end was sweet!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't use smg in my previous campaigns at all so I thought I could put it into this one.

Nicely done! Thanks for putting the resin in blocks of 5, it's the decent thing to do for shorter levels imo. Not big into SMG-only, I use the pistol without upgrades pretty exclusively wherever possible, but I'm probably weird like that, just prefer the accuracy and rawness of manual aiming with it. Spread on the SMG is just so janky at distances like in the final fight here for example. Not big into solving puzzles to open doors either, feels like been there done that at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cheers
