Is the super gun supposed to look like the normal pistol but function like a bolt action rifle? Because that's what's happening for me. Still, very original map, very inspired.

You're a goddamn masochist, the part where you had to jump across a death pit while standing PIXEL PERFECT was just insane.

This entire map i've probably sweated more than i ever have in my entire life, the only thing missing is massive goddamn spiders.

10/10, will never play again

@Azyraphyle There's a door that opens in that room with the fabricator that wasn't opened before once you activate the 4 lights. After you shot the lock, did you get to the room with Jeff stuck behind a door? The last lock is there. Either you didn't get the last lock or you just missed the now ajar door in the fabricator room once all 4 are lit.

What are you supposed to do after shooting the lock off in the part near Jeff? I’ve got all the lights turned green but doesn’t seem like there’s anywhere left to go.

Some of my issues with the finale: The enemies all seem to spawn in the same spot clumped together which makes them too easy to kill. You have so many entry points; it would be nice to have them surround you a bit so you have to shift cover at times. The heavy machine gun guy who comes out on the catwalk is ineffectual. He walks out kind of slowly and you can kill him easily before he even starts shooting. Lastly, when the map ends, it fades to black as before but leaves me stuck in the wireframe room and never goes back to SteamVR.

Aside from those issues, the map was really well thought out and a ton of fun; a definite must play! I played it on Hard with 2x smooth locomotion speed, FYI, and upgraded all of my guns fully except the handgun which I didn't touch as I switched to the single shot gun for the end.

Definitely a lot better finale. A few more positives and feedback:

I loved the use of voice lines from the game, some of which I hadn't heard before.

The super handgun was a lot of fun to use in close to medium combat. I also liked the fact that you upgraded the main guns quite a bit to start u off.

Scavenging opportunities were very well handled. A focus on 5-resin bundles in some neat places was a nice touch.

The ultra narrow corridors near Jeff was pretty freaky, and I liked it, but it did get glitchy for me both when I was trying to shoot the lock and when I attempted to defuse the third puzzle. It's hard to angle your flashlight and then shoot in those tight spaces, and regarding the puzzle, it doesn't light up on it's own so you have to use the flashlight; definitely a bit annoying in that tight space. Aside from that, up to the finale was perfection!

I tried again and put only one battery in, killed the 3 enemies, and then put the remainder of the batteries in unmolested. The 3 enemies spawned in view of me, so I think you might want to have them spawn behind cover instead and then path them, and have more enemies spawn as you put batteries in. Perhaps make it so that every battery brings more combine, so you can overwhelm yourself, and then maybe a turn wheel to open a door to get to the main cutoff switch. That way you have to kill all the enemies before the map ends.

Correction...4 batteries. After I killed the initial group of enemies at the top, I located all 4 batteries and placed them near the receptacles. I put the first one in and an event started, but after I quickly put the other 3 batteries in, the map ended before I entered further combat. Maybe you can adjust it a bit so that doesn't happen, and we are forced to deal with the battles.

Also, after the map ended, it went back to the main screen and said "the map could not be loaded because files are missing: VM1_lobby.

I'm at the part with the 5 batteries and all I can say is dayum! I always play on Hard but I think I'll have to dial it back to Normal or it's just a reload saved game-fest. BTW, I had an AI Disabled bug when you start climbing the catwalks but reverted to an autosave and it was fine again.

Hey Mettle, this was one of my favs from the contest but the ending was a let down. Have you added more combat to the ending or is it the same?
