This is an improved version of my map submission for VaultMaps Competition 1.

Is the super gun supposed to look like the normal pistol but function like a bolt action rifle? Because that's what's happening for me. Still, very original map, very inspired.

You're a goddamn masochist, the part where you had to jump across a death pit while standing PIXEL PERFECT was just insane.

This entire map i've probably sweated more than i ever have in my entire life, the only thing missing is massive goddamn spiders.

10/10, will never play again

@Azyraphyle There's a door that opens in that room with the fabricator that wasn't opened before once you activate the 4 lights. After you shot the lock, did you get to the room with Jeff stuck behind a door? The last lock is there. Either you didn't get the last lock or you just missed the now ajar door in the fabricator room once all 4 are lit.

What are you supposed to do after shooting the lock off in the part near Jeff? I’ve got all the lights turned green but doesn’t seem like there’s anywhere left to go.

Some of my issues with the finale: The enemies all seem to spawn in the same spot clumped together which makes them too easy to kill. You have so many entry points; it would be nice to have them surround you a bit so you have to shift cover at times. The heavy machine gun guy who comes out on the catwalk is ineffectual. He walks out kind of slowly and you can kill him easily before he even starts shooting. Lastly, when the map ends, it fades to black as before but leaves me stuck in the wireframe room and never goes back to SteamVR.

Aside from those issues, the map was really well thought out and a ton of fun; a definite must play! I played it on Hard with 2x smooth locomotion speed, FYI, and upgraded all of my guns fully except the handgun which I didn't touch as I switched to the single shot gun for the end.

Definitely a lot better finale. A few more positives and feedback:

I loved the use of voice lines from the game, some of which I hadn't heard before.

The super handgun was a lot of fun to use in close to medium combat. I also liked the fact that you upgraded the main guns quite a bit to start u off.

Scavenging opportunities were very well handled. A focus on 5-resin bundles in some neat places was a nice touch.

The ultra narrow corridors near Jeff was pretty freaky, and I liked it, but it did get glitchy for me both when I was trying to shoot the lock and when I attempted to defuse the third puzzle. It's hard to angle your flashlight and then shoot in those tight spaces, and regarding the puzzle, it doesn't light up on it's own so you have to use the flashlight; definitely a bit annoying in that tight space. Aside from that, up to the finale was perfection!
