its not really made to be transported. you could rip it from the mission files and take it apart to transport it. but its really just a static object you put somewhere

How do I get to let's say, an ice sheet, will it fit inside a cargo plane, or do i have to put it on a cargo ship, or can I do both?
The picture for the base makes it look big.

that depends, fits in the hangar but you can place it anywhere in the mission editor
