so far I'm at 14 gyros in order to get my ship to behave acceptably. I suspect that it will be closer to 40 once I remove the pre existing gyros XD

what I did to solve this is divide the ship into subgrids and use an optimization mod, by doing this I was able to create a fully mobile 32km wide 13km long ship.

Oh my god you saved my bacon. After dropping 3500 gyros and adding 175000 pcu I didn't allow for to get this massive pile of lag moving, this mod salvaged my build with I think 25 gyros. Have a favourite.

No i think i don't do a stronger one. SE has a bug with higher values. Too many of them and your ship don't move. You will never make a megaship moveable of it, because of the high mass that exceeds the limits of the game. ^^

You're not the only one with this problem.

(I think KeenSWH use unsigned values. This reduces the high value BY HALF and explains why a value above the half is reversed and the ships don't move anymore.)

Hello any chance for a 1 million % gyro. Making a super heavy capital ship that is a very big performance hog because of repeat blocks.

This looks like it could help me. Currently have 300 gyros on my WIP ship and it barely moves. Will try this out to see if it will save me a lot of space and power needs compared to 300 gyros.

Mod working as intended. I have a large,heavilly armored ship that could barely move with the standard gyros. Moves well now. Great mod.

Don't get me wrong, i think this mod is exceptionnal, in terms of functionnality, it's a game changer, so i thank the modder very much, i'm not spitting on it. But in terms of interface, usability, it's misleading for new users, there's no instructions, and 95% of the users won't even see they're not using the mod properly and give up, which doesn't do the mod justice =)

You cannot place the Gyroscope +100000% via the G menu (very misleading, as it lets you select it !), you can only use the scrolling wheel while placing the standard gyro, as the Gyroscope +100000% is a sub-category of the same object, like the diagonal light blocks are a sub-category of the fully cubic light block.

AsteroidBuggs, are you sure you're using the "Gyroscope +100000%" and not the standard gyroscope ?
The gyro selection is pretty misleading (the main problem i've seen so far, which Prof.Liebstrumpf should correct).
I've used the gyros on a super super dreadnought (way too heavy, in termes of PCU) and i was forced to throttle them down ...
Your welding tool should indicate "Gyroscope +100000%". If not, you've placed the wrong gyros, the vanilla ones.

Ja, das wurde schonmal durchgekaut, dass es bei übermäßigen Gyroscope nicht mehr funktioniert. Hat sicher was mit dem "Übergewicht" zu tun. Ist egal wie hoch ich die Werte setze, es wird nicht mehr funktionieren wenn es zu schwer wird oder zu viele platziert sind.

Hi Prof, ich habe einen Starwars Executor gebaut mit ca. 25 mio blöcken. Trotz das ich deinen Gyroscope 2000x verbaut habe zeigt es so gut wie keine Wirkung. Kann es sein das die ab einer bestimmten Anzahl keinen Einfluß mehr zeigen?
