Yes I agree, smaller vessels are not only better for lag but are often a lot more fun in multiplayer, as everyone can skipper their own boat. I'm surprised at how well this has held up, this was my first ever boat.

I've never built a non-advanced vehicle, I just learnt in advanced and that suits me! About a scuttle feature, I originally had one, but the weight of the doors meant the boat would sink instantly when spawning. That was a while ago though, it's a lot more stable now, I'll give it another try.

Although I find it runs well (not too fast!) at 0.35 throttle, if it doesn't work for you then I'm not sure.
