This mod is great! I love the clownfish patterns (mod not enabled right now)

"11 different new patterns" probably new

I've only just started the Guppy breeding (beautiful patterns by the way!) but does the 11 count the base,no pattern, pattern, or is it 12 total with that included?

Are there any plans to update this mod for the Architect's Collection? Though I'm not entirely sure which of the new additions have been bred in captivity before.

Love this, thank you, I'm addicted to guppy breeding! The only problem I've found is that both the Cuckoo Wrasse and Ballan Wrasse spawn need tropical water, not cold like the parents! Sure this isn't intended ;)

I love the new hybrids so much! Is it possible to get them as a separate mod from the rest of the saltwater breeding? I know that the whole point of a "Breeding Expanded" mod is to expand breeding, but I personally prefer not to breed saltwater fish. I hope this doesn't seem nit-picky, its just something I was curious about.

Oh, also is there any chance you could add the inked pattern for guppies back in?

Is the old base Discus pattern still available? What's it called?

Is the Cuckoo Wrasse supposed to have spawn needing warmth?

I've really enjoyed seeing what new hybrids can be developed. So far I've found all the Ram and Angelfish hybrids, but the Discus are being a bit picky.

@Fortuna - There's a line of code missing in the data file for Clown Fish and Butterfly Rams. Once I added the line the naming functioned as with the other hybrids. The line is probably missing as these two species didn't have hybrid patterns originally enabled.

Update to the clownfish thing, I noticed that while they're all being named Clownfish X, and clicking on them displays the pattern as their breed type, there's no mention anywhere of the colour. It's kinda annoying, because I have to go back and forth between my breeding tank and my actual tank to work out if I have a particular pattern or not, and some of the patterns (Black Storm and Black Snowflake, that I've seen so far) are very hard to tell whether or not the colour is orange or red. I imagine anyone who has trouble seeing those colours would find it even harder.

I'm having an issue with this mod. When I have it installed, my game keeps freezing after I start breeding fish.

I was doing a creator mode hybrid test, because I really like playing with the hybrids. The guppies are GORGEOUS, I love them. The angelfish really like throwing the ultimate koi pattern, so far.

I noticed that it seems like the clownfish don't have automatic naming for their colours? I got one that's very red compared to normal, but it's just named 'Clownfish X' (x being its number)

I can't work out whether or not I have all the clownfish colour/patterns! Is there anywhere I can take a sneak peak to find out? I'm overwhelmed with clownfish now, their breeding got a little out of hand hehe, so I'm hoping to separate them to reduce the load.

@marshall_01 If I remember correctly, some zoos have also successfully bred bull husses and spotted eagle rays in recent years.

One thing I would recommend is adding the 'pair must be alone' trait to some of the marine fish such as the clowns and damsels. Since its sometimes awkward to have them spawn in huge reef tanks when you're not looking.

I see. I'll give this a go then, because I really like the new default skins for the guppy and discus. The guppy looks more like the wild animal with its spots and patterns.

I believe if you load the other mod first, it'll overwrite this one. So if you prefer using the other mod, just do that! But no, they aren't compatible.

Same, this mod looks amazing but I wonder what if we use it with the "clownfish breeding addon" mod ?

I am interested in trying this mod. Someone has already done a breeding mod for the clownfish though, so I hope that doesn't glitch out with this one.

Also you have to put the DLC dependency on it 'cuz breeding only works with it iirc.
