Everything from the base game loaded for me, but the Alliance Cruiser and the backs of the Misbehave cards were invisible. I was able to fix by setting TTS graphics settings to "Very Low" and restarting the game.

This is really nice but its not loading many images in the decks. A fix would be awesome.

@TrekScout or @swiftsail, a friend and I settled on your workshop recently to feed our virtual gaming sessions. We originally wanted to play the base game, so I had to take the time to sort out all the cards. Afterwards, since I had already sorted everything, I took the time to script out some automation for our future sessions. Currently it is sitting in a private workshop, but should you be interested I would be more than happy to link up with you to see/have the scripting I used. Thank you for the wonderful work you and your group have done with this game.

I am getting data sent by steam is empty. Am I doing this wrong?

10th Anniversary Content has been getting delivered the past few weeks. Have you had a chance to take a look yet?

Will this be getting an update when the new content drops in Jan? I backed the Collector's Edition and I got a friend interested in playing this game with me, including on TTS, so being able to play with ALL the content will be nice once we are up to speed.

@johngallant1: Just press the green Subscribe button above, and you will have the Firefly module available in Tabletop Simulator. This applies to all board game modules made by the community.

To load the module in Tabletop Simulator, just Create a server and select the Firefly module from the blue Workshop row. It will then load the module and you can invite others to the session (if you selected Multiplayer in the beginnin).

I know this is going to sound stupid, but how do I play/access this game? I have tabletop simulator in Steam, but not sure how to launch this Firefly mod. We love the game and want to play it with friends online - I can't wait to try this after seeing the screenshots, but I haven't used one of these mods before... please help!

QUESTION: Where did you find the player reference cards ("On your turn...")? I tried looking for them at BGG, but to no avail. Or did you create them yourself? They are excellent, I would like to print and laminate them for live board game sessions.

Anyway, I ported it to TTS and was wondering if you would add it to this mod. You could just stick it in a crate on the side somewhere. It's high quality and I think a lot of people would like it so I thought I'd ask. I don't know if you're planning to update any more but this is definitely the best version of Firefly on TTS.

@SquareQube - more --> The Firefly:The Game forums, on Board Game Geek https://boardgamegeek.com/ has a file section with vast spreadsheets of great info, including a list of all expansions and their corresponding icons. Also, if you ask questions on the forum boards you will usually get nearly instant answers. There way too many expansion icons to describe and label here. To fully pull an expansion, you'd have to go through ALL the decks and pull all the cards with the icons for the expansions that you don't want to play. There are a LOT of decks, big decks! I often just announce at the beginning of the game that we aren't playing with Blah-Blah expansion, if a player pulls a card with the Blah-Blah symbol, toss it in the trash can and pull another card. That is an easy, if inelegant fix.

Someday, I may get the chance to tag all the cards with their expansion and code a button to pull them out or add them back, but right now, that isn't likely to happen for awhile.

@SquareQube This is a tedious question that I am disinclined to take the time to fully answer, but I can point you to the information. You are correct, all expansions have an unique icon in the corner that identifies the expansion. Even the after-market, player-made expansions, well the good ones, follow this rule. P&BH is a skull and cross bones - easy to remember it is a pirate flag symbol. Crime and punishment is balance scale - like the scale held by the "justice is blind" Greek statue. The other expansions I, personally, see no need to pull, I like playing with ALL the stuff! haha They play like the original game. There are some people who want to play the game without the rim expansions, or without the special ship expansions, or without the card pack & promo cards. I like all the stuff and may never find the need to pull those out. --> continued

Hey TrekScout, THANK YOU for putting all of this together, it's a great mod for playing Firefly on TTS, and I am very grateful for your work.
I saw you mentioned in a previous post, about what to do if you do not want to use Crime and Punishment (CP) and Pirates and Bounty Hunters (PBH) elements but I found that hard to follow...
Would you be able to put together a step-by-step instruction on how to remove all of those parts from the mod?
Can you also add a legend (for those like me who do not know all expansions) on how to tell if a component belongs to a certain expansion?
e.g. I *think* it has something to do with the "gray" icon you can see in some cards (turtle, skull, dragon, etc....)

@bprentic the ships and boards and all other gear for the ships should all be in the crates, off to the left of the board, in the crates with each ship's name.

Okay, so the thing I am missing is the ship boards. Where can I find my firefly? (or interceptor, etc.?)

ShadowKoneko :3 He is aware, and he is not making profit. He offers them for free. You only pay the printing cost to the printing company, not to him. Or you can just print them out yourself. But for cards that have to shuffle into a deck, that is a bit hard without professional printing.

Neat but he might get in trouble since hes using celebs in his pics and charging money, warn him about that :P

@ShadowKoneko :3 I checked with George, the author of Aces & Eights. The "Tong" Profession and Wanted Leaders come into play more in his other expansion call The Black Market. For information on that expansion, ask on the Firefly forum on Boardgame Geek. All the parts have been posted there. gwek (George) even has his expansions set up to be purchased, at cost, from PrinterStudio for the cards and from various 3D printers for the ships.

Says that the Tong tag refers to many things in the black market.

@ShadowKoneko :3 Aces & Eights is a fan made expansion created by George Krubski (gwek) from Boardgame Geek. The Black Market is another one of his excellent expansions. I was not aware that anything in Aces & Eights referred to The Black Market? Can you point me to where you saw that reference? If I can't figure it out, I will ask George.

I hope to add more fan expansions in the future.

@kroni088 The rule books are all in one PDF, laying on the table in the upper right corner. It may not look familiar because the first page is a homemade table of contents. But all the rule books, and then some, are in there.

How do I find the rule book? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

@Dokt0r Gunn At this time you'd have to pull them out manually. Expansion cards have different icons in the corners. I am not planning on ever pulling out the rim expansions. I like the bigger map. I hope to make it so that you can pull out Crime and Punishment and Pirates and Bounty Hunters in the future, as those add dynamics that many players do not like. There is also extra cards from the ship expansions and from the Breaking Atmo' card pack. I have no plans to pull those out as they just blend in, seamlessly, pretty much.

One thing you can do, is leave all the P&BH cards in the contact deck discards or pull them out completely. That way, no one has to deal with Player vs. Player jobs. You do not have to use the alert and bounty cards, pick a story card that doesn't use those.

Once you pull out those cards, save your own copy of the game and you can reuse it.

Is there anyway to play with less of the expansions? My friends have never played before and explaining all the expansions is a lot.
