I think it would be incredibly useful if you could figure out some sort of custom gyroscope controller, since i've almost never been able to properly use the gyroscope

I have this installed on two separate aircraft, and they both hold level pitch when the gyro is turned on. However, level pitch does not correspond to level flight. Both aircraft start a very slow descent when at level pitch. It is realistic for an aircraft to have pitch up attitude when at cruise. So, I was wondering was the solution may be or is it in my design? Is there a way for me to tell the gyro to hole a different sensor value other than 0?

mmm yes it does seem like the 2 giant control surfaces were the cause

Probably you have very large control surfaces while flying at very high speed.

I just added this onto a jet of mine, but at any semi-high speed it starts wobbling to all hell, reducing pid sensitvity reduced this but now the pitch angle is extremely low so i can barely even take off anymore or do turns

You can just remove unused numerical nodes and unhook links from the composite node.

You need to hook up all angular speed and altitude sensors for the flight control, although there is a compact version without autopilot and fewer required sensors.

is there a way to limit yaw when autopilot is on? when i use manual control its set up ok, but when i turn on autopilot it turns yaw rudder way to much and plane starts loosing altitude.

There are too many things on your plane that spoil its aerodynamics and require a workaround to achieve stable flight, like excessive thrust of fans, destabilizing front fins, small fins spam, control surfaces on subbodies, and fins on the missiles. Also Thales mod gives my pc a significant lag every time i open the inventory, and personally i dont like any oversized and overpowered vehicles. Try someone else's gyro from workshop or the default one.

It is aerodynamically unstable, try to make it fly in a straight line without nose diving first.

Alright i have problem, my plane's agility is great but my plane often randomly pitches up, like its not a little pitch its like max pitch, and this may be a diffirent issue but when i try to use the ALT hold it just randomly pitches down, if you want i can just send my aircraft if needed

If the airplane holds the altitude, the nose should be slightly pitched down to compensate the lifting force of the wings and other chassis blocks.

It is better use the separate engine controllers for the each engine, since their RPS are not synchronized. Make sure the numeric value you connected to the desired RPS node is actually increasing as you increase the throttle.

Also where do i connect the RPS and Tempature to? If i connect it directly to the jet engine which part of the jet since im using this for a twin jet fighter

Not sure if its my fault or its a bug but whenever i try to put my throttle up my jet engine just stays idle, i may have wired it up wrong but idk, help would be appreciated :pray:
