The exit door is broken because custom doors of separate bodies can't bind, and now, stormworks considers anything not permanently attached to the main creation a separate body.

For all standard airliners in real life, the APU is NOT meant to turned during flight. Mid-flight, it could act as a backup generator. (ONLY USE APU FOR STARTUP AND EMERGENCY BACKUP POWER) APU stands for Auxillary Power Unit.

It's not Engine 2 that explodes, it's APU. Shut it down as soon as you lift off into the sky. That worked for me. Same thing may apply to the new version of this plane. If Engine 2 would explode, then it's gray exhaust trail will turn into a black smoke trail. It's pretty obvious the APU is the one catching fire. Try now.

@NutellaBrain Hide a machine gun or light autocannon with 1 belt somewhere in the plane, put incendiary rounds in the belt, and have it hooked to ignition or something

Autocannon/machine gun with incendiary rounds would work if you have the DLC.

lets say you wanted it to catch fire to mess with your friends how would you do it since leaving everything on did not work for me

when i take off for some reason engine 2 always catch on fire

1: why are you using the old version? 2: its the pacs. the pacs need power from engines or the apu and the heater enable button is around the pacs area.

where do u turn on heaters

all, aircraft has very poor performance if you firewall the throttles with the starter on, bleed on, and apu on. please shut of apu and apu bleed and engine starter after takeoff.

@anthonyalessi Fixed! Find the apu fuel connector by opening the rear tailcone and looking on the right side of the plane for a dial and a connector for APU fueling. Consider hooking up external power whilst you do this.

apu does not have fuel connector and runs off seperate tank. will be fixed shortly

Cant seem to get the APU to start in ADV lim fuel mode. APU is a small diesel engine, correct? APU RUN motors engine to ~1% non start. Tried opening the service hatch in the rear and filling via aft fuel hose, and enabling AUX fuel tank in the flight deck. Any ideas? Ive killed a hundred batteries by now.

for the throttle use the up and down keys.

The planes movement is a bit jolty and hard to use. For some reason I can't control the throttle up and down with my keys and its really hard to do it physically

eh, just hack the autopilot computer to always switch roll inputs to the stabilized input, not hard.

i meant for non-AP flight such as takeoff and landing.

@FireCat17 autopilots have roll stabilizers in them, when alt hold is set you can still yaw if heading is set to 0.

@fruit smoothie, i dont know how to do that. @Ostbage1, Is the battery on? is there fuel in the plane? if the setting that makes stuff start with fuel is off then fuel it up.

I want to know though, am I allowed to use the HUD Throttle thingy on aircraft of mine? Because I know practically nothing about LUA and it would be really useful. (I would also say that it is originally from your aircraft of course)

you bleed from the apu to the engines.

I like the design and everything, allowing you to control more of the aircraft. However, this also means you have to control more of the aircraft. I am having troubles with the whole "bleeding" system. I know you have to have it bleed from another system to start, but I am not sure exactly what that means. I have tried it in the aircraft and I cannot get it to start, following the procedures.
