The suit model which you pick up during suiting up is a more detailed model, consisting of 3 materials, and has better mesh definition and polycount.
I have seen some gmod ports that use it, and we used it for our gordon model.

I didn't notice there was a higher resolution version in the game files.
But frankly I just did this originally so I could learn Substance Painter, I hadn't any real intention of uploading this at first but I thought it turned out well enough that, why not. I know how to go about fixing all the issues for next time though.

Interesting idea, but imo using the low poly version of HEV suit was a mis-step here, since it doesn't look as good as it could've, and i think some mesh adjustments would've also been required.
