If I have to rely on failsafes like that, somebody at Valve is doing their tools wrong.

The problem is, they speak of it as if it were a "regular army" weapon. The regular army does not have access to Create-a-Class, you know, so the Picatinny rails are completely useless for a common infantryman. On the other hand, for special forces the "improvements" of the AK-400 are insufficient to be worthwhile. In short, it is a uselessly tacticool rifle for worker-peasant soldiers, and doesn't have any notable ergonomic bonuses that aren't covered by upgrade kits already.

The worst thing about all this is how much the prototypes and their features were advertised, and the "final production" model looks like (and, in fact, is) a downgrade in comparison. That, and the whole story is just a massive money expenditure for the people invloved. It is unnecessary to replace the AK-74M in the regular army. A stock with an adjustable length of pull would be the only welcome feature.

all the features you listen seems nothing more like gimmicks, the costs of replacing every 74 in service would be enormous, making universal upgrade kits for the massive stockpile of 74s available would be a far cheaper and a far more logical choice

@Marilyn, the KF2 anims have the charging handle on the right, also the tac reload looks more similar to the actual animation in Ghosts; compare to Cele's version.

While the bolt is easily mirrored, the bolt bone is weirdly misrotated and misplaced, and I'm not looking forward to working with it again unless it is really worth it.

What's are the maps in the screenshots?
