Kalashnikov AK-12 (2013 prototype) with an EOLAD-1V and a folding five-position foregrip from Call of Duty: Ghosts.

It was conceived as a rifle of the "future soldier" of Russia; its opponents were the A-545 (a descendant of the AEK-971 rifle with "balanced action") and the AK-200. The AK-12 prototypes went through several iterations, with the 2012-13 model being the most well-known (it appeared in numerous videogames, including several Call of Duty and Battlefield installments); it was fully-ambidextrous with a reversible charging handle and/or ejection port, a thumb-operated selector, and a bolt catch. Naturally, the rifle was too awesome to adopt, so some "flaws" were discovered, and the AK-400 (an AK-200 with some AK-12 features, such as burst mode) was declared a winner. That rifle has no reversible controls, no thumb-operated selector, and not even a bolt catch. It, however, got a two-round burst firing mode, allegedly with a higher rate of fire of 1000 RPM, which "no assault rifle is capable of" (in your face, FAMAS). The rest of the taxpayers' money apparently went into upgrading the existing AK-74 rifles, further proving that that rifle is a piece of Picatinny-railed crud and not a "5th generation AK".

Replaces the "Desert Combat Rifle" (model and reloading sounds)

Some of you call me a great modder and/or even your favourite one. While I do appreciate it, there is still obviously a lot to learn and improve upon for me. Recently I learned that I don't really have to weld vertices and redo model smoothing (unless I'm using models exported by Wraith Archon instead of Tom Crowley's Lime, or decompiled SMDs); this should ease my Payday 2 and CoD projects a lot. I've also learned that I don't have to import the whole QC into 3ds Max unless I'm doing something like stitching several animations together; just SMD is enough and it doesn't make bones on the KF2 animations fly all over the place. Then there's my increasing competence with deltas and blending. And I also learned that if you go all sentimental and verbose, Steam is going to ♥♥♥♥ you over and you will lose another half-an-hour restoring your texts.

But enough about me. This is my first real CoD:Ghosts port, if you don't count the AK-74 made from the Vepr. Being capable of burst fire, this is a perfect SCAR replacer, and I don't have many of those. I have even switched the selector to point at "3". The EOLAD is your usual long EOTech with a laser sight, it was only seen in singleplayer campaign, being replaced by some magical damage bar in MP. The tactical reload animation looks quite similar to the one in Ghosts, and the rifle ejects empty casings to the left, so have fun trying to catch them with your tongue. The world model is the actual world model with less polygons and stuff, as the view model isn't UVW-mapped properly on the right side of the stock. Speaking of which, I had to stretch it to match the view model, as Ghosts devs apparently had some beef with the stocks on the world models. Have you seen the poor Vepr? Also, I've just remembered that the bone bolt was giving me a massive headache, even with using the source SMD.

Couldn't you just type what you wanted in your description in a notepad file, then save or copy and paste that in your description? (it's a lot less complicated than that sounds.)
