Actually I think essential is vanilla since websites like hatter have the option to use it without mods

@时灵末路 I assume that u mean "upgrade the item rarity level to Essential(from FU mod/Elithian Race mod, which is not included in vanilla)". In fact, not all players have subscribed these mods... by doing so, I might introduce some mod compatibility issues...and more importantly, I really, really want to keep this mod as simple, clean as possible:P If u really fancy the Essential/Gold frame, u could create an addon mod for yourself. That's actually pretty easy(rarity = highestRarity("essential")).

Can you change the frame to gold after upgrading? I think it looks better this way.

Well, things may be different. sometimes you did spend the essence, but your stuffs would not get upgraded. That's also possible depending on the situation.

I have tested it and found no bugs. Be sure that you have enough essence and also the right weapons to upgrade. Weapons and shields from other people's mods might not work for the BloodAnvil mod. For example: guns in GIC mod and shields in BL2 mod(The equipment in these mods had been heavily modified already:/).

Do not like weapons, Tier 1-6 armors are separate objects in the game DB, so upgrading armors are more like making a new mod.

That's weird:o As far as I know...if you got a weapon which has a 10+ level, this mod will not work. Did u get it from the mission, or u just spawned the item by using the console?

TBH, I'm not 100% sure if it 's compatible with other people's mods. This mod is supposed to upgrade all vanilla weapons & shields to lvl 10. Sometimes it could also work on weapons in other people's mods if they use the same item tags.

Is this mod compatible with mods Upgraded Upgrades tier 10? Will adding both allow me to increase weapons level to 10?

I think maybe some other mods may overwrite mine. Anyway, I still made an update.

Could you try to generate some random weapons to the inventory, and then press the switch button several times to see if they showed up?

Great mod, lets me upgrade almost every weapon I've got!

I was trying to add a new currency, but I failed to correctly show it in the player inventory UI So I probably would try to add something else in the future. Maybe. No guarantee.

If you could add Carnage Essence that can be made with bones and flesh; and occasionally drops from mobs, that could be a neat way to handle the materials. I do know there are some other mods that have their own blood liquids, so that hooking into this could be rad too.
