@Tolaburka It's high yield and grows faster than corn, you will be neck deep in pumpkins if you're growing them in mass. Grow skill is the best way to balance it so it doesn't just feel like a fast rotting corn, otherwise i'd raise the grow time and you'd not have much reason to pick it outside liking the colour orange.

I like the old textures. They make your Mod stand out from other Mods that add pumpkins. Your pumpkins are vastly superior.

Please consider adding a Patch so that, when you have the Vanilla Plants Expanded Mod, it removes the Vanilla Plants Expanded Mod's version of the Pumpkin. I don't want two different types of pumpkins. Yours are vastly superior.

Please consider updating this Mod to V1.3 . I am a big fan of this and your Watermelon Mod.

Learned a thing or two the last fews days so i'll be doing a pass over these textures after some post-watermelon release celebrations (I'd already made improvement to the skins for this and was going to push them but THEN i discovered some new stuff so technically it'll be a re-re texture on my end)

A 50-stack limit WOULD have implications for storage mods; that's what I was thinking in terms of :)

I know some other modders who have lower stack sizes, but you are v right about vanilla.

Nawh i decided NOT to touch the stacks. Even though i would have personally liked that mechanic as a way to further dock pumpkins no other plants in the game that (i've seen) stack their harvested resources under 75 max stack; Mass only effects caravan weight not amount carried so there's no real way to model a hefty pump in it's full glory without breaking from convention.

I meant in terms of 50 sized stacks :laughing:

Pumpkins are big?

It rots ~4x as fast as corn, needs a highish skill to sow and is twice as much weight for caravaning, also should be cooked because it counts as a seed food like rice. So a couple difference i felt made up for the higher yield.

I was thinking about limiting stack size from 75 > 50 to simulate it taking up more storage space but since no other vegs do that it feel like it'd stick out to much and make them feel to different

I'm not too familiar with the numbers but it looked like you were aiming for a crop between corn and strawberries but the yield is higher than corn out of everything?

put two pumpkins side by side and it's a frikken 8

Changed min sow to 7>8 and days to rot from 12>16 because pumpkins are very much about multiples of 8
