Instructions are in the last paragraph in description. Make sure that the text after ScreenBlock= matches cockpit name exactly as it appears in control panel, including spaces and numbers. Then increase number after Screen= until the graphics appears on the desired monitor.

How to display it in cockpit?
Knsgf  [author] Feb 13, 2022 @ 12:24pm
Sounds like a mod conflict. Are you using Real Orbits?

Orbiting Triton Will Make The Display Glitch the hell Out

No.
Cpt BrownBag Nov 22, 2021 @ 9:10am
will your orbital scripts work with the new Real Orbits mod or on planets the have gravityfalloff set ^2
Thanks!

There is no easy way to do this at the moment.

Is there any possibility of a way to change the color of the display?

Where Can I find the script I have added it to my game but I cant find the script anywhere
anzellott Feb 13, 2021 @ 8:01am
ok
that'll be good for rendezvous for landers and Space station n stuff
Knsgf  [author] Jan 20, 2021 @ 10:36pm
I might, but no promises.

Could You make A Script That Shows Your Ship's Orbital Trajectory Compared To Another's?
starchives23 Jan 14, 2021 @ 10:22am
Ah, thank you
Knsgf  [author] Jan 14, 2021 @ 10:13am
This is what Ship= in PB's Custom Data is for.
starchives23 Jan 14, 2021 @ 10:12am
Can I use this to map the orbits of other grids? Ie a station I want to dock with
Leo2log Dec 27, 2020 @ 10:42am
nvm i fixed it
Knsgf  [author] Dec 27, 2020 @ 8:29am
The script won't do anything unless the required mod is loaded.
Leo2log Dec 27, 2020 @ 8:07am
yeah the script isnt displaying on lcds

Check local gravity in cockpit control panel. If it says "(stock)", then you're too low.

I Did Accomplish A Somewhat Stable Mini-Moon Orbit (3460m Diameter), But The Script Still REfused To Work, Although Somehow Not As Catastrophically As When I Oribted Earth

i used a speed mod with a maximum speed of 20km/s, way overkill for the <300m/s i needed to orbit my planet. the planet i used was a realistic earth that was scaled with SE toolbox to be exactly 1000th of the real earth's size (12,746m Diameter, 6,373m Diameter). I Tried Going In 200m, But The Best I Could Do Is A Good Sub Orbit At atleast 583m, Which Is Coincidentially Just below The Point At Which The Atmosphere Goes From Low O2 And Freeze To None O2 And Freeze, Or Space

@anzellott
Dude, I hope you used an increased speed mod. For I was able to enter the orbit of a planet with a radius of 2500 km (with the help of a plug-in I was able to put one). Developed a speed of 3.7 km / s, and quietly circled.

By the way, out of boredom, I even calculated the first space speed, so that it was more accurate. :D

Tested myself, and even with 500 m planet I didn't see anything odd. At which height were you trying to orbit?
anzellott Aug 29, 2020 @ 3:10pm
it appears to malfunction when used on planets smaller than 19km with a realistic gravity mod. could you make this mod more accomodating for these situations? Especially considering they are most important in these scenarios where i have no choise but orbit when i want to go to space
Tempus loop Jul 17, 2020 @ 6:31am
Wow! Thank you so much!
Knsgf  [author] Jul 17, 2020 @ 6:26am
I've updated the script to allow it to work on fixed stations. Make sure to specify the name of your ship on 'Ship=' line in PB's Custom Data.
Tempus loop Jul 17, 2020 @ 5:02am
Hello! Is it possible to track objects in orbit while on the planet? Like the observation center at KSP. If so, how to implement it?

Well, the script is * bad word of delight *, even a very * bad word of delight * !!!
BloodyRain2k Jul 9, 2020 @ 2:10am
Does SE have orbital mechanics now? Last time I played, planets just had gravity but that's it O_o
nubeees May 15, 2020 @ 12:59pm
Fantastic. Thank you for making this script!

For anyone unfamiliar with orbital mechanics or confused about how to use this script, I found this website to be very helpful in explaining its concepts: http://www.braeunig.us/space/orbmech.htm
