I saw the description of the Cores and saw the disclaimer...

Is that a legit disclaimer, or just there for shock value...?

Well, I did some testing and managed to fix it.
But, the problem is that is "Memento Mori's" fault, and the author seems absent since 2017, and it actually discretely conflicts with many mods.

@FelmastProMcLane logs didn't really reveal much, I just removed memento mori on a hunch. I suspect it's because of the way it stores the player's death location that it interferes with the reconstruction core and breaks it

it also looks like memento mori is incompatible with this mod (I'm noticing that there's also an unused sail message in this mod too, I can help with enabling it if you'd like :P)

also noticed a typo in the description of the item, the second line should say "The Fermion Corporation is not liable for malfunctions"

I may not need this device all that much, but the fact npcs use it certainly make it worthwhile, adds a nice degree of uncertainty when facing npcs :P

I doubt it, because it would be permanent.
But once it is out of the prototype phase and a non-exploding version it's made, then sure.

I was doing a rescue quest and the enemies all spawned with cores that didnt disappear when they respawned
