for whatever reason whenever i try to make a sword, it always shows up as a yellow gradient in the interface, my inventory and when i hold it. is there a reason for this or is starbound just being weird?

The colors aren't working for me. I just put in a hex code like #000000 and click set hex and the sword should change color? After putting in a hex code the sword just stays the same color for me, I can't change it

Mythic Down right now it is locked to just `superspinslash` but i will make an update that allows you to pick

Yay spears confirmed, that'd be awesome! An idea is making a collection of these types of mods, I think I saw one for guns so it might just be helpful

No worries, I just like to know which weapons break the anvil so I can storage them to upgrade other weapons. The game is incredible finicky so, I get it lol

Gedz first off, that idea is very interesting and i will do so! and to answer the weapon upgrade thing, because the tools are custom weapons, i do sadly think it will break the weapon upgrade anvil :( sorry about that

These mods are really cool!

Just a little observation, it might make it slightly more immersive and less jarring, purely aestetic though :)
Why not put something like 'TrisTech' instead of 'Made by Tristan"?

otherwise it looks fantastic, so smooth!

Question though, does this break the Weapon upgrade anvil like the guns version?

Jelly hexcodes are just Numerical and alphabetical values representing colours and as for the special abilities i can easily make it have an option thing but the biggest pain is offsets and that will take a VERY long time
