Damn, really wanted to like this mod but it doesn't have stats for CE, and so the traps basically do nothing to enemies.

For me the Body crusher, Steel Slicer and Bear Trap did not work on any of the vanilla Insectoids. The steel spikes worked however.

Am I missing something or is this intentional?

Referring to the saws, but a reload fixed it. Not sure what the problem was or if it'll happen again

Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but the traps don't work on the next enemy if one dies on top of it

Does anyone know how to change how much traps slow down colonists while they walk over them, or to stop it from happening?
I'm talking about how a pawn slows down while walking over furniture and the like, not the purposeful slow-down of traps like the caltrops.

The alternative for me is to up the damage and use less traps, but that would feel meh...

Does anyone else feel like bear traps are triggering way less often than they should? I know it's not 100% but I've had 3-4 enemies run over one just fine.

Caltrops are surprisingly effective against armor. Basicallly you impale yourself on it, using your own mass and momentum. I'd say they should have 70-90 penetratin (for steel).

Spike traps look like they should be quite damaging, but not as effective at penetration.

Bear traps should do blunt samage instead of sharp, with low penetraton but strong stun.

Body slicer looks like it should be rearmable clone of vanilla spikes.

Body crusher - same as slicer but with blunt damage.

Saws - low penetration, but aiming for head and neck.

Heat pad - low penetration but hich chance of setting on fire

Freeze pad - there is no armor against cold damage so it is basically a force damage.

@ignis But what traps should get it? For example caltrops would probably not affect someone in full armor.

Vanilla spike traps have 150 penetration (with steel). I suppose reusable traps should have half of that value.

Looks like all traps here are lacking armor penetration stat, making them extremely inefficient against any armored target.

I guess you could update the version dependency from 0.0 to 0.1.

I know you didn't make it yourself, but I love this conceptually, i haven't used it yet. I'd love to see barbwire or some sort of snaring traps so your ranged fighters can set up and avoid melee enemies overwhelming them

@flame rain insane There is no version defined, it just needs beta traps active. I have no idea why fluffys manager has such a hard time with that.

it doesn't work with the fluffys manager it crashes the manger and the whole game for some reason the manger seems not to understand the version and throws everything off. just thought i would give you heads up on this :)

@flame rain insane I assume its Fluffys mod manager? It has issues with understanding versions, there is no error.
