the following changes to NatureIsBeautifulWithRimCuisine_TWB.xml - to do a check first to see if the node exists and do a value replace instead of add if it does fixes the issue , also looking for the full node for the beauty stat and not just the WaterDeep def itself
Glad to send over the local edited file that I have to save you trouble. Next step to imrpove it would be to make it a conditional to replace the value with this mod's value if one does exist
<li Class="PatchOperationTest">
<xpath>Defs/TerrainDef[defName="WaterDeep"]/statBases/Beauty</xpath>
<success>Invert</success>
</li>
Yes, we can change .XML files. But that does not invalidate all suggestions or complaints. Sure, I could use a local, modified copy. I've done that before and I'll do it again. Anyone can do this who is not afraid of playing around with game files, using trial and error. But you may as well tell everyone this mod's comments - or all comments for all mods - to go and create their own mod every time they have any type of suggestion or gripe.
Granted, it sounds like you were just trying to be helpful. And if I was told this by the mod's author, then that's that. However, your solution has several downsides. Significantly: Those of us who want to create a Collection of mods to share with friends so they're playing with the same or similar modlist would be out of luck if several of these mods are customized local copies. Maybe we want to use the Multiplayer mod to play with friends? Or, maybe we want to do a Let's Play video and list the mods we are using for our playthrough?
Maybe also change the Beauty of Silver and Gold metal (raw ore & trading material) from vanilla's -4 to something more realistic and reasonable like 0 or 1?
I mean... This mod already changes Rough stone ground/floors to have a beauty of 1 instead of -1. And it changes Rock rubble to have a beauty of 0 instead of -4. As such, does it make logical sense to leave raw silver and gold metal at -4?
the frest one ads alot of fruit trees and the other more wild plants. but all centered on the vanilia stats.
The new Impassable Chest-deep Water for 1.3, that it

This place is kind of unsightly. I wish I didn't have to look at this.
