Clean install, installed the vpk in my custom folder.

There’s nothing wrong with my mod. I gave you the benefit of doubt by testing it and it worked fine on my end. I can’t help you without knowing how you install the mod or if you have conflicting mods or what. The issue isn’t with the mod, it’s how you are installing it or what other mod you may be running alongside it. Since it works fine on my end, you’d need to share more information than it simply not working so I could understand what’s wrong with your particular case. But again, either you’re installing it wrong or you have conflicts.

I did. I tried your blue hud and it worked fine.

It changed the color of everything but after installing I can't see my health, just the suit power

The only thing this mod changes are color files that use the hudlayout.res files. If those mods in question also use the same file, then it would. With a little bit of effort however, you can "merge" them yourself.

Did you not use a custom folder as it was stated in the guide? Did you not move the VPK file to the custom folder if you did made a custom folder and made sure to follow that guide?

Saying "It did not work" is very vague, please tell me what you did so I can assist you better.

What do you mean? There should be a file named "greenhud", just move that to the custom folder.

That depends on what you mean by HL2 style hud. I can't imagine I'd make it look *exactly* like half life 2's, but I could change the coloring etc to make it look like half life 2's.
