you could create a mod to remove items after death, its working principle is quite simple, but it would give a completely different approach to the game, if all items from the inventory were completely removed after death, it would create a positive circulation of weapons and armor, which would equalize the balance of resources and items in large modpacks

Looking at it closely it doesn't seem to be the human settlement from your mod. I guess I'll have to find where it comes from sorry for the trouble.

Not happening elsewhere no. There are clothed guards so I'm not even sure what type the npcs that are naked are supposed to be.

They're the generic villageguard npc type used by the vanilla camp sites. Have you noticed that happening to the vanilla human guards?
If so, likely another mod's interfering with it or something.

Some of the humans in the human settlement spawn naked. Citybound also had this problem because it gave the guards a role that the game didn't recognize so they weren't geared with anything. Could this be a similar problem?

Though admittedly I've been considering doing a total rework of the mod (Since I kinda feel a lot of it doesn't really live up to my current standards) but rn burnout's been keeping me from getting started- but I'd definitely add support for that and the new Planet Search once I do

I love these dungeons, but I hardly get them. :( I usually have to spawn them in with admin commands, but it would also be really cool to have CityScaper support. It lets you build the dungeon piece by piece using prefabs that place sections of the dungeon manually, getting the size and layouts you like. :D

@alexis_opossum The Human Settlements work the same way vanilla's human dungeons's do- they don't really have a planet preference so you might have to explore a bit.

@Kronolos Like vanilla's novakid dungeon, they don't really have a planetary bias- best bet is find a planet that doesn't have one since those have the most equal chances.

I have tried this mod and it has some nice dungeon variety.
Do you have any plans to make any more compatibility patches in the future?
(Maple32, K'rakoths: Lords Of The Cosmos, Grassland planets, etc.)

Hey! So I wasn't really able to find anything in my current log but I have found an older one that's a lot more streamlined. I remember I contacted the creator of Maple32 and he said this:

"I think I have figured out the problem:

From what I read in your log, it seems that it is trying to generate a dungeon which doesn't exist, at least under the name "swtjc_lp_swtjc_lp_apexresearchlab".

I do not think this is caused by Maple32, but is instead caused by whatever mod adds this dungeon to thrashed planets, whether that be the original mod or a compatibility mod. I speculate that a typo was made, where "swtjc_lp_swtjc_lp_apexresearchlab" should instead have been "swtjc_lp_apexresearchlab", but was accidentally pasted twice or something.

If you have any more information for me please do tell."

Uh oh- do me a favor
Look for "starbound.log" (within C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage), open it with a text editor, ctrl-f for [Error] and post the results here? Keep an eye for anything starting with "z4"

Hey, so I'm pretty sure there's a typo with one of the apex research lab IDs because whenever I beam down to a planet with the dungeon, it immediately sends me back to my ship.

I must apologize for not being clear, but it might either this mod or the Memory Leakless Pixel Printer mod that's interfering with the hylotl city wiring. There were no crashes as far as I'm aware, it's just that when the pressing the button to open the door that connects to the ocean closes pretty fast instead of staying open until it is filled with water.

But if it can be found in the logs, is there a way to check?

@NullByte Weird. There shouldn’t be anything interfering with those- have you checked the .log in Starbound/Storage

Okay... Just subscribed, continued on my game then when interacting with the hylotl airlocks, they no longer work? Haven't even gotten the wiring tool on my matter manipulator. Possible bug?

@Cheesey Wonder IIRC this mod doesn’t alter the quest locations, so this shouldn’t be the root of those problems.

@Chet Walter Adds content- there’s only like one patch file in this entire thing.

Hi there, so far loved this mod.
I want to ask anyone and everyone who's used this mod if they've had any issues with npcs only giving quests to 1 specific location (ex: on starting planet, quests to fight baddies always send you to the abandoned mine, no where else!).
I recently came across this issue on a new character. I suspect it is due to a mod or 2 which add micro/regular dungeons which then somehow interfere with where quests can take you/take place.
Any comments, suggestions or idea are very welcome!

@Fyre Flareon: No and no. There's a fair amount of modded content- primarily NPCs and objects, so client downloads would be required.

@Murder Kitty: There shouldn't be any conflicts with FU- though the compatibility patch allows GD dungeons to spawn on Frackin' worlds.
