And with mods like Hospitality, guests completely ignore those VGP foods as well.
I know before Odyssey dlc dropped you could sell stews to just about any trader selling food and it could be traded or even gifted to guest pawns but nobody seems to be taking them anymore.
That said though, throwing stew at factions via drop pods does still give rep though
- Updated Patch for Odyssey for Vanilla Expanded Fishing changes

-Patch added for:
Vanilla Expanded Ideology
Vanilla Expanded cooking
If both loaded my sweets will work with the Sweet Tooth Ideo.
-Small coding back end change
XML error: Could not register node named "MealRottable" in mod dismarzero.VGP.VGPGardenGourmet because this name is already used in this mod.
-Food stack sizes adjusted to better match vanilla
-Food types for meals updated
-Back end coding from version changes updated
-Fueled eject added to fueled workstations
-New Fish added to sushi recipes if loaded
As for the Fruit Drink issue, if scheduling non-drugs is the core of the issue maybe there's an idea there for a mod to allow it? They added a category to policies for books, maybe someone could add a policy for recreational activities that includes foods?
I'm not sure about the stack size should just use normal stack size for meals.
-Salt is Vein Mine-able
-Caramel, Taffy, Hard Candy minor coding changes
Lorebot Yes I will look into that
-All worktable now marked as Kitchen
