It's based off your mod but I've changed quite a lot of the options and events. I've also managed to fix the decision to stay as your current ruler (it was firing for the dead character, not the current live one, took me a while to figure that out)! If you want me to take it down just let me know.

Would it somehow be possible to make this also apply for when you become unlanded (such as when you get all your land revoked, get conquered, etc.)? In my experience, that just gives you a game over as it normally would.

So don’t know if this has been addressed but when using this mod for some Wierd reason the player score carries over and even increases based on the actions of the character before jumping .anyway I can fix this so it either goes down to 0 or at least take the new character score only.

you go into the event folder and pull up the event file. There you can find an entry for something like "religion = christian" or "religion = muslim", stuff like that. You can remove that or change it with other religions

I have a question about this mod: the only major DLC I have is The Old Gods, which means I cannot play muslim rulers. I also use the Umbra Spherae mod which adds a lot of nations which do not have a religion, and those characters are unplayable. does this mod filter out rulers that you cannot play as?

Have you figured out how to get the choice event to actually give you control of another character? I got the event to display correctly and everything, but that's all I could do.

I agree with Militintti, adding the ability to either ignore lower rank characters or the ability to only leap into independent rulers.

Documents > Paradox Interactive > Crusader Kings 2 > mod.

There will be a quantum leap mod folder in there. unzip the file and it should work.

For some reason I cant find this mod in mods menu to activate...

I needed this mod. But some further options would be welcome - e.g. being able to turn it off (and back on) in-game, excluding certain ranks, whatever else...

I think there's a trigger you can check in vanilla (and most mods) if someone is a playable character and won't game over, something like "FROMs_religion_is_playable_trigger". I'm not that experienced when it comes to mods, but it's something to look into.

Hello, tank you for this mod. I was wondering, would you be able to make a gamerule to select the number of character played before changing?
Because I feel like playing one character is not really enought and it would be cool if it would change after two/three characters played instead of one.
