You need to opt into the current 'x86-64 - Chromium + 64-bit binaries' beta
Then, what you're looking for will be in <Steam directory>\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64

i should probably note that i will probably make this a series of maps, maybe even up to the end of HL2's campaign, but probably not. I'll see how the Point Insertion maps overall get received by the public

the only reasons the metrocops broke is because i deleted an entity by mistake. that will be fixed in the update where i add the interior back

i like this map because it knows i just spent the last map causing holocaust and so the metrocops are after me. P.S i can see why you shouldnt make ALL the "Point Insertion" maps like this bc the first map of hl2 has a buncha scripted sequences that the metrocops could fump up.

cringe file size. shadows aren't even supposed to be that sharp because of the angular size of the sun. please remove this.

Actually, steamworks compiles addons, 700 mb is the size of the map yes, but thats decompiled. You only download a compiled version which is barely 100 mb.

What is the point of this map? You rendered shadows for 600mb, it does not give any profit, this engine has long been time to bury. Normal engines have long been using global lighting.

7 seconds for a full vvis, 19 minutes for vrad (in hdr only of course). the new 64bit vbsp, vvis & vrad are bitchin fast, but i also have a Ryzen 3600x

around 600 megabytes went to the cubemaps, the other 100 went to the map itself (mostly shadows). Absolutely insane overkill on the cubemap side, but it's what pushes the engine to it's limits, which is what this map (and possibly future maps) aim to do
