This map was a tech demo of sorts and wasn't really meant for gameplay (in fact, it was for a Source Filmmaker Project I was working on), you can play an updated, less edited (and less broken) version with LDR support too here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2466858073. I chose to make a separate addon because this map is inherently different to the new one in my opinion.

Thanks to the new 64 bit compile tools introduced to Garry's Mod, it is now feasible to have a map with consistently high resolution shadows. This map (gm_d1_trainstation_02_2020) showcases high resolution shadows and cubemaps to show that the Source Engine can still look great.

This map was made for a personal Source Filmmaker project, but has been touched up and released for GMod.
Because of that, this map should really be considered a "tech demo" of sorts

With that being said...
This map ONLY SUPPORTS HDR. Playing in LDR will result in the map being fullbright (If you believe your computer cannot handle HDR, then this map would likely perform terribly anyways)
The inside (train station terminal) does not exist, this is only the outside
The NPCs seem to be a bit bugged, Combine should be neutral but are not
HDR lighting has not been tuned at all, and because of that, it is overblown

If you come across this map and believe it would be great on a RP server, please keep those notes above in mind, along with the fact that this map is ~750 megabytes uncompressed, and is a ~300 megabyte download(which is possible thanks to the new 64bit gmpublish 1.2)

This map is based off of the Source SDK map 'sdk_d1_trainstation_02' and is not from a decompile

You need to opt into the current 'x86-64 - Chromium + 64-bit binaries' beta
Then, what you're looking for will be in <Steam directory>\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64

i should probably note that i will probably make this a series of maps, maybe even up to the end of HL2's campaign, but probably not. I'll see how the Point Insertion maps overall get received by the public

the only reasons the metrocops broke is because i deleted an entity by mistake. that will be fixed in the update where i add the interior back

i like this map because it knows i just spent the last map causing holocaust and so the metrocops are after me. P.S i can see why you shouldnt make ALL the "Point Insertion" maps like this bc the first map of hl2 has a buncha scripted sequences that the metrocops could fump up.
