1 these are the inputs for calculate world coordinate of targets.
2 it doesn't matter where you put it, as long as it get the direction of the vehicle.
3 technically, yes you can. I don't restrict modifications on my MC, but i won't support modded MC.

It uses a compass sensor to know where contacts are. If a target is in front of you, the point indicating its position will displayed at the top of the screen, and if it is behind you, it will displayed at the bottom.
I've never used sonar before, but I think it works well as long as the sonar is set up horizontally.

is the radar using north and south or the direction of the ship to show where contacts are? I am tryingto use this for a sonar

I've confirmed the problem of compass and plotting position, and fixed them. Thx for reporting!

I'm having similar issues getting things to show up in the right place. Radar contacts will display in the right direction, but the compass marks are wrong. The range settings also seem wrong when I compare a known target on the scope to a waypoint placed over the target location.

can you add a radar to my ship iv tried at least 50 times to get your radar to work correctly but iv been unable to get it right everything keeps showing in the wrong place and idk how to fix it
