so far with worksop town won 8 in a row and won me a double in scotland so yh sometimes it does take some getting use to but worksop a non league team are on fire from the get go brilliant tactic 9.5/10

@ IBetaTestYourGF - I am not sure about Valencia mate but usually, it takes a bit of time for the team to get used to, at least the teams I have used it on.

@DarkXess wanted to ask if the first season is alway this hard like i'm having a hard time with valencia for now i'm close to the winter mercato if you had some advise for me. thanks you

@MooningMax - yes I am aware of the large number of cards and I have explained before if you play around with the tactic such as change to less aggressive ie expression etc then it should make things better.

对于这个黄牌和红牌比较多的问题，我开局曼联打了3场比赛，第三场单场6黄＋库利巴利2黄离场。可能是这个战术在设置后卫线的时候把后卫线放的太靠前了，这样固然可以增加全场紧逼的强度但是如果前面没有防下来那对面后场一个大脚前锋就是单刀，不得以我们球员只能放铲，所以得牌这么多。我还没有做太多测试，但是我感觉可以试试把后卫线往后面拉一点，设置一个后卫靠前一个在后面协防。

Sth.about yellow card and reds....In a single Primer League game I got 6 yellows and 1 red....I think that's may because the defensive line is too high for those has fast counter attack teams. They use long pass and their attack player got 1 on 1 chance easily behind my defense players because I got huge space behind them. And because this tactic urges players to tackle hard, my defense players surely got yellows easily. Thus in my humble opinion I suggest to set the defensive line a little bit back, and set a CB to stand behind to cover(There is a option COVER for CB players). I dont konw if I explain my point clearly....

@hyunkel - it's an ongoing problem with FM20's game engine is broken, strikers can't score such as 1 on 1's are broken etc... I suggest waiting for the new patch.

@cooke96 - yup, sad how SI are taking there time about fixing the issue either, it isn't just my tactic either, if you read all the recent reviews many people are complaining the same thing.

@Vasermill - of course not, but I really do hope that they fix the god damn GE. I mean even the beta was better than what it's like right now.

@Vasermill - FM20 is going through a tough patch right now, I myself have stopped playing until they fix it, but strikers are broken! they won't score especially 1 on 1s. So this is the game engines fault, not my tactic. As for the cards, you can maybe give them instructions to tackle not so hard and be less expressive.

btw my centre strikers are Luka jovic and Andrea Belotti both are quite good target man but they arent scoring at all , my side strikers (Hazard , vini, bale, asensio,odegaard) scoring more tahn them combined

im using this tactic on Real Madrid 3rd season , in the beggining i won 1-0/2-1 for like 5/6 matches in a row i started doubting this tactic but now im winning big time 5-0 leipzig (away) , 4-0at.madrid , 4-1 barcelona (away) . the only problem is my centre striker isnt scoring im not sure why and all of my defenders+ ball winning midfielder get yellow card almost every game so every 5 games im losing 1 of them, do you have any suggestions how to reduce the amount of cards i get?

@andre - you can try, I have no idea what the results will be like, as long as you adapt the tactic to your player's style then it should in theory work okay.

can i do a 4-1-2-3 no wingers and the results are great? or the tactic is different

@cooke96 - have you played around with the (tackling) and (defence) making them less hard on the tackle and also so they are not too expressive?

Have had much success with this over the years. Trying it with England now. Players keep getting booked and then suspensions kick in. Can not get a settled team. Concedes too many goals and poor against bigger teams and struggles to score goals. Following your advice with no luck.

@xxbodezalphaxx - thanks for the feedback mate, you can always play around with it a bit to stop that leaky defence, though take 2 things as a started, 1 it could be the tactic or 2 it could be what kind of defenders you have. I managed to break records with Ajax for the number of clean sheets and conceding little goals in such time etc.

i have tried this formation with three different clubs Blyth Spartans came top of the league spending no money and bring no one in in my first season. Also managed to do reasonably well in the cups.

The next team i tried it with was crewe and again did reasonably well spending no money and only sign free transfers i managed to reach the playoff got through to the final but unfortunately lost that, 2 sending off's is never good lol. and finally tried it with nottm forest who came second in the league behind leeds got to the quarter final of the fa cup and was beaten by liverpool 4-3. So all in all not a bad formation, scores for fun but a little leaky at the back, however in fairness that might be down to me being really frugal and not getting better defenders. Good job though.

My favorite tactic in fm18, not so much fm19 tho. Hope i have more fun using this tactic this year, thanks for sharing it :D

@Sugen - lol what encouragement are you using? I use (demand more) on this recent FM and that seems to make them encouraged and in green.

loved this tactic in fm18, my players just get frustrated on the pitch while encourge them.. does it mather?
