This doesn't seem to work anymore.

I can select the residential goods in the "create town" dialog, but the resulting town doesn't have residential demands, and in the town editor the cargo selection for residential is always disabled.

I loved this mod, it largely worked as expected even with the Spring/Summer 2022 update. But the new feature added for more demands in the recent update (imo) makes this mod a bit out of date.

Soooo... still loving this mod, I moved on from there to look at the files and added RESIDENTIAL to a few choice cargo LUAs (examples: grain.cargo.lua, coal.cargo.lua and logs.cargo.lua) to more accurately represent the demand economy of the USA until well after the Second World War, that would be Велика Вітчизняна війна to our friends in Ukraine.

Now I have something of gloriously complicated, somewhat totally broken economy if I used the editor to customize demands for a city to demand everything. I am learning moderation. Slowly. If I can get the snags combed out of this revision of the Third Demanded Good, it may well be worth sharing.

This is great that its shows the demand on the map, the problem with the Expanded Demands mod is that it doesn't do this.

It works... it needs a little time to find the mods wich are not compatible with this mod.

start a new map, deactivate the two mods (if you use it) and test.

I am not sure where the error is that makes this problem.

What is particularly pleasing is that you can see the icons of the desired goods on the map without opening the city menu. It would be great if you could take it with you to the rendered and or already played maps.

Thank you for the excellent mod. I like that it can be used in the map editor.

Awesome so its a good way to for towns to grow more

the third cargo should add to the towns growth if you supply it.

does this interfere with the growth of the town or if i supply the 3rd cargo it will grow?

If only I could find a way to get the town generator to spawn in a cargo in the third slot. This is the only thing preventing the 3rd slot from being used without manual input from the player.

I guess we where in the same boat, trying everything possible, two completely different approaches. From the looks of it, this could be fantastic for a mail mod ;)

@steve silent this mod works by editing the cargo type files themselves. You’d need to edit that mods files itself. I could do it myself but I am currently away from my computer so I can’t try to work on a compatibility mod until late tonight/tomorrow.

I am Using the Coffee production mod and want to change some towns 3rd demand to coffee but it doesn't show up in the list

Any news on conflicts with other mods like that

Same. I love the challenge of supplying every city with a good and this game took it away, so thank you. Hopefully we can see an all goods demanded mod or something in the near future?
