@Yukio Not really considering it looks if you have the tech and if you have and are not angel race it removes it. There are other mods that add flying even some have wings.

Any chance I can bypass it? I would love to try it in other races :D

@Yukio you see, we have engineered a special script that actively removes it from any other race if that race somehow obtained it. :P

Hey! I love the concept of the mod just that i have an issue- I'm making a smol Mod Pack with FU but the Stats and Resistences doesn't appear in the Personal Tricoder or have the Angelic Flight I on the character, is this some kind of error on the Tricoder in-game or do i have to fix something first?

@Endstime Post that on the race comments section, it has nothing to do with FU, the beds probably don't have the "bed" tag for them to count for deeds.

angel beds doesn't work with (FU) Colony Deed Mark II [Crafted from Colony Station] [Research tree Craftmanship > Colony Creation] .. idk if its specific beds but the one im using is Iron Angelic Bed. is it possible to fix it? :)

I have problem with FU, when i choose basic ship i don't have additional option in S.A.I.L. How can i fix it?

@martingolding96 the torches are part of the normal FU starting loot (one word in the file) so I can not remove them, also I am currently not updating this until really necessary.

The default Angel start has 25 Angelic Torches in the locker so any chance of changing the 10 normal torches to angelic?

@Andrew You will just need to know the basics of starbound modding and for everything else just look at FU github, for examples of stats from different races.

You should tell that in the main Angels mod page, I just made a patch for FU and nerfed the tech, I don't remember touching the quests.

@fox If I remember correctly there are few FU techs that would help with building in space, and there is the FU gravity thing (don't remember the correct name for this "machine") that creates gravity around itself and it's not that expensive to make.

as much as i understand that a script to remove the tech from other races, i think killing the script would improve some quality of life traits of other races. (I use juux, and waddling around in space is not as easy as juux as it is with an angel character)

honestly i'm not a big fan of those flight techs because my character can't flap in place. ):
i use it a lot for building in 0 gravity, as little sense as that makes it's super handy.

@ANGER Are you having a problem with this patch? Even if those two are merged now it shouldn't affect this patch.

FR is now merged with FU, you should probably update this to reflect that.

@AtariNic You should ask Oмεяυıп about that, it was hard enough to convince them about the shotguns buff.

May I suggest a attack buff for staffs/wands? I guess it would make sense for them to use magic :)

@Yutiradon sry for that, forgot to remove that link, that was when i separated the tech overhaul from the patch, but that is no longer the case.

Oh also if the third link is supposed to be a mod to revert the change to flying tech, the link doesn't work. Steam gives me an error saying it can't access the item

Any chance you could make it so that this doesn't change the flying tech for the angels? I know that the way it is in the original mod isn't too balanced, but I much prefer it. (Plus it sorta makes sense for angels to be able to fly infinitely)

@TheyCallMeTeehee The fly tech has it's own animation for wings when flying, it would be best to not use other wings on top of them.

I'm having a graphics issue but I'm uncertain where the fault lies. The Fly Tech wings that appear during flight seem to have a bit of a "negative photo" quality, and while I can wear accessory wings without a problem, the glitchy Fly Tech wings still appear during flight and overlap with the worn accessory wings.I have a couple pictures if that could help illustrate the issue.

Angels pretty much are super OP, because they originated as something fun and awesome I wanted to play with my friends...however..over time I kinda have been going over some things and changing them, just not everything. That being said..
If you want to I can change it to be more forgiving / balanced.

The "nerfed" fly tech is back.
Added an upgraded version of "nerfed" fly tech that can be crafted.

@Zemmystardust If you got scripting experience and would like to help with the tech i would love that, but how things stand right now i know very little about scripting, and needed around 50 tries to make my version of the flying tech work in the first place.

@Zemmystardust It was hard enough to make the "nerfed" version as it is, i don't know if i would be able to make a upgradeable version, i may try that but that would mean i would put it back in this mod. The "unnerfed" version of the tech is the normal "The Angels of Starbound" mods tech, i have nothing to do with it.
