The only clang guns that work on planets are rotor guns like this one.
You can't shoot very far with them though, cause ballistics and shit.
I JUST put this on my capital ship & tested it in atmosphere.
It blew up over half my ship. This gun is ONLY GOOD for space.
That being said, Major, could you make something like this that's good for atmosphere or space?
OR, direct me to another one of your brilliant workshop items that already works in space & on planets?
Again, very nice design, extremely deadly when I shot it within range.
@The Outcast I've tried a couple of approaches so far and it works, but it's not quite good enough for publishing yet. There's a couple of problems with it that I need to work out first to make it reliable enough. It's possible to attach and detach piston heads via a script just like a rotor, maybe I can use that to improve it somehow.
Checked the welders, they're on and loaded with components.
Checked the ownership, its all set to me.
Tried creating a new projectile projection with the same settings.
Tried in survival and creative.
Any idea?
Also natural gravity disables all gravity generators so it will just fall down on planets.
