Helios XGS-20 Gravity Gun

[Vanilla|Survival Ready|Subgrids]

A simple and small gravity gun that fits on almost every ship.

The XGS-20 is a small grid gravity gun with an integrated welder and gravity generators. It is triggerd by timer blocks (no scripts needed) and shoots projectiles with warheads and a bunch of additional features.

If you want to build this in survival, paste it in a creative world first, detach the rotor and blueprint the subgrid. Then weld up both parts in your survival world and attach the subrid part to the rotor.


-Blocks: 5 large + 10 small + 7 small per projectile
-PCU: 862 (+340 per projectile)
-Mass: 19.6t (+2.5t per projectile)
-FireRate: up to 50 per minute


-Anti gravity shield feature (can't block these with gravity shields)
-Sensor triggered warheads for consistent damage
-Friendly fire protection (warheads only activate after the projectile has left the barrel)
-Cheap assembly (artificial mass instead of space balls - cheaper and lighter material weight)
-Unlimited range (even the garbage collector won't remove this - until the battery runs out)
-Spam protection (grav gun will only fire, when it is fully assembled)


-Place it on your ship, make sure the "barrel" isn't obstructed
-To shoot simply trigger the timer block named "Timer Block grav gun"


-The welder already contains all materials needed for one projectile
-When placing several guns, each timer will trigger all guns
-You can place them right next to each other
-You can encase them completely, just leave a one block wide opening for the projectile
-I believe you can put a sliding door infront of it and make it shoot through, but I have not tested that
-You can turn the welder and the gravity generators on and off freely, they are not used by timers

-You can also replace the welder and the gravity generators, just make sure the welder will actually weld everything
