Is there any way for Missiles to home on into tracker blocks from the modpack?

Good day — how can one track a shot from a cannon (NOT A MISSILE, NOT A 'SMART' CANNON) of a standard M1 ABRAMS tank? If there is such a method, please write it.

projectiles per shot doesnt work or shooting the same block with 2 cannons nearly the same time they just destroy 1 block instead of 2 so penetration doesnt work. is there a fix?

Hi, would be possible to know the speed of the proyectile of each cannon when shot? Does the speed decrease due to drag or does it remain constant? Thx.

Thank you for your answer. I found a way to calculate the trajectory. I took Angel 3 degrees and I shooted ones, then I used calculation (distance from bearing to the middle of impact crater/sin(2*angel))=(620 / sin(2*3)=5931,399=x x =( rati of (beginning velocity)^2/gravity)
d=distans a=angel a=arcsin(d/x). Changing x can adapt this formula for other canons. I hope that it will be helpful. :-)

ufrog i tried it too, and i remember dividing or multiplying by two some value, but idk which. either distance or velocity, and idk if before or after. try some shenanigans, try seeing if something like this helps

Hi, I'm trying to make a trajectory calculator for the M109 Canon from your mod, but every calculation that I try is not working. I tried "distans= (velosity^2*sin2 (a))/gravity acceleration"(velocity 130 m/s, gravity acceleration=10 m/s^2), and it's gibrish. Can you help?

@NMPmCH_Evgen it is a constant downward force that is applied to the projectile, it is set to 10 by default.

how does projectile gravity works? is this just a force that pulls the projectile down? is it just the speed of how fast the projectile will spin down?

@NMPmCH_Evgen there's no way to get values from Smart Cannon, but it can read the values of counter blocks from The Modpack so you can just set gravity value and use it elsewhere.

I wish there was a homing missile or smart missile block that the missiles could lock onto. That way I could do a military role play pf a helicopter/jet getting shot down.

@_Raptor<3 Connect a button to any cannon from the mod with the connect tool and then press on it.

@uwanna rus the whole point of this button in the UI is to transfer the values you've had in your counters into the local storage of the smart cannon so that you could get rid of said counters.

Is it possible to connect a button to a smart rocket launcher so that when it is pressed, missiles are not fired, but the target changes. Hi I had an idea of something I think could be cool in the mod, it's a laser similar to those I believe are in 'The Modpack' except that when connected to a cannon it would calculate the trajectory of the round without the randomness so in dogfights or other combat you could visualise and predict where a round will go which would be particularly useful while in third person. Not sure if something like this already exists or is possible in Scrap Mechanic but I saw it in another similar game and was intrigued.
