@Invizible that is hilariously broken. I knew my mods would break with this update, but I only update my mods when I play the game, and since 75% of the mods i use will take time to update, it will be after those are.

Also I am not a programmer. I fixed my gameplay tweak mod as a fluke, so no promises. I am phenomenally bimbo.

I'll get to it when i can.

I can't help but laugh at how badly this update broke my mods xD

Should we still wait for updates?
Gigantic trait now (from last game update) brokes ships upgrade costs. It's almost okay when u change 1 ship part; but the more ship components u replace, the more insane numbers are displayed. (also having ESC mod, but without gigantism costs are ok)
I.E.: i have 3 stock corvettes. When i remove 1 component, ill get ~ +100alloys upon upgrading them. When i remove two components, ill get ~900alloys....number growing in some nonlinear progression... Geting ~140k alloys when putting down all defence and weapons from 3 stock corvettes :D

Likely when I get back into the game. Im not a programmer, so when something goes wrong, Its incredibly difficult for me to figure out what goes wrong. I also have a lot of issue with energy, so it really needs to be my focus. It'lll get updated eventually, for sure, but I dont know when.

I think it might be because of something that happened with the 2.7.1 or 2.7.2 update cause this mod along with a few other trait mods worked just fine in 2.7.0, now though they dont.

When I run it, for some reason it bricks the game by giving me an infinite amount of blank event screens that reappear every time a day passes by.

Because the trait Technophobes costs 0 points all the Grand Admiral AI pick this trait, and now they fight with mid-tier corvettes against the crisis.
I love all the traits that have their own up and downsides but it seems that making them cost 0 generates problems. I'd love a little challenge

Yeah cause Mayfly has worked since day 1. Abeit, I needed to balance it because it is a VERY powerful perk, especially if you play a hivemind.

@SupernovaSymphony Hm. I think I can see that a bit later in game yea I didn't play with it long. I am just used to playing with the old elves but I sort of am pulling away from it right now because it felt a bit too powerful.

So far I love the mods! You are doing great :D I wish I knew how to make this stuff, but I am poor at coding.

Yeah I played with them being full exp gain and found it too powerful, especially sinc eyou get other powerful bonuses from it too.

Glad you enjoy mayfly. Its probably my favourite trait to play with, and makes the early game challenging

I love the species ideas and such. Do you think Revered Elders needs the "Leader experience gain: -35%?" as well as the other one? Since things can still be killed it isn't nearly as strong as the other one which adds straight stats.

Mayfly is good because Pop Growth speed is the most powerful thing in the game.

Either that or the Pop Growth Speed could be removed. I just don't see why a lived-long race would have memory issues or slower learning or Pop Growth.

@Sigurd. Ty for the suggestion, but I went through a bunch of balancing around mayfly. It was free originally, then 5, then 7 and it was still too good. You should be basing your entire society around it. I play mayfly species often, and they are still up there in power, even if you go with a bunch of other traits instead.

I never used additional traits. I'll consider it :)

But for now, my game is horribly broiken, and I likely wont be putting too much work in just yet, still its in a state Im happy with

I really like these traits, though do feel Mayfly is too expensive to counter just between this mod and vanilla traits. You kind of get shoe-horned into making your species into abominations.

In light of that, while trying to make non-cosmic-horror salarian rip-offs, I realized that the traits in Additional Traits weren't forbidding or being forbidden by your similar or opposite traits. Digging further, I saw that you have already included opposing traits tags for a few other mods, and I was wondering if you might add Additional Traits to your lists.

tl;dr Please add compatibility to Additional Traits and maybe knock down the price of Mayfly.
