OMG ! THANK YOU !!! This mod helps so much. With all the fainting of dehydration you would think my hospital was in the middle of a desert ! Now I get 3-4 collapses a day if that. Thank you again !

Which one I should choose if I have Traumatology, but not the Infectious Diseases one?

I decided to upload a separate version of the mod for people who play with the Traumatology and Infectious Diseases DLCs.

While the current mod will technically still work with DLCs enabled, the new version should resolve some of the issues reported.

Happy new year ladies and gentlemen. The mod has FINALLY been updated to fix some of the issues that have popped up in the "Bug Reports" thread. For those of you who don't read the update notes, I'll copy paste them into this post:

- Fixed IV TPA not available for stroke patients
- Fixed IV infusion not automatically being selected for patients with Acute Pancreatitis
- Fixed problem with Adult Osteomalacia that prevented proper blood testing

If anything problems do pop up, let me know in the Bug Reports!

And last but not least....... GET VACCINATED!

Please update this, it's a good mod. Used it for a couple months. But it doesn't seem to work proberly anymore. Without that mod, the game is literally unplayable. I've over 440 hours so far, but I NEVER lost 3 patients within 6 days...NEVER!!

It's a shame this mod has issues, because I could really use something that reduces occurrence rates of serious illness in my current game.

I have a question about the objective of "Quick Snap Care", saving a patient after 3 collapses. Is that even possible with this mod? I mean, the very fact of having 3 collapses for one patient? I think I've never seen such event.

I had the same problem as dragongal35, the file wasn't where you said it would be, but i looked into it and found a directory called "workshop" inside which was a directory called "content" in which their was multiple directory with number on them, which i found out corresponded to games for which i had mods from the workshop installed. If you search into each directory, you'll find out which number correspond to each game. You'll find plenty of other directories with numbers, but this time each directory correspond to a mod that you installed. You'll have to find the correct directory using the preview corresponding to the mod, which is inside the directory in a PNG file called "prerview". It's not a very fun prorcess, but ultimately, you'll find the ModSymptomsMainRCDITest.xml file inside the Database directoryr once you'll have identified the correct directory.

Install it manually then. A link on nexus in the mod description. Put it in the said location, edit .xml and don't forget to uninstall the steam mod.

Where do you keep your mods then? I'm not aware of any other location

I'm not seeing anything about mods in the "Addons" folder, just folders for the DLCs and a bunch of Language Packs.

In ModSymptomsMainRCDITest.xml change the line TRT_INTRAVENOUS_INFUSION to TRT_INTRAVENOUS_ANTIBIOTICS

In which file must we change the prescription ? Can you give the full pathway starting from the Project Hospital directory ?

For those who experience the pancreatitis treatment failure just change prescription in the mod files from infusion to antibiotics.

I think the one I'm thinking of could make collapse-causing ailments show up before you had the facilities to deal with them.

They don't collapse as much, yet they get more "complications" during the hospitalization.

Was it this mod or a different one that altered how soon collapse-causing conditions could appear (thus pushing you to build hospitalization sooner)?

This mod make the Pop Up panels bug on some computers (mine) please if you have a bit of time to spare, try to update it !!! It's a great mod, too bad i have to remove it :(

I love this game! Im currently in nursing school so any ways to make this game more realistic and get my brain thinking on more real life scenarios is great!! Please keep updating for us med folks!

Hey all. So I just got back into playing, and this was one of my favorite mods. I have seen people speaking on the failure of pancreatitis to be treated correctly, but I think I may have found a solution.

As long as the patient is manually controlled, and you have FOUND the symptom of inflamed pancreas, you CAN administer the IV Infusion treatment. If you have not actually found the underlying symptom, the game doesn't recognize the disease/treatment.

I have successfully treated pancreatitis in my game now for over a week of in-game time with no issues.

@Eisleneth What you have to do is to send the patient to another hospital, and the loop ends. It's a bit bad solution, cause it has an impact in the hospital prestige..... but this way you can keep playing. About the popups, the problem is that there are a lot of them opened one upwards the others. So just press Enter button until all of them are closed.

@Eisleneth If I uninstall the mod I'm pretty sure it will break my handcrafted hospital, which is something I wouldn't like at all, because it took me a lot of time and work.
I guess I'm waiting for a fix, unless there's a method to uninstall the mod without breaking my save that I don't know of.

@León Reverting does not work, because the issue happens again in time when you receive another patient diagnosed with pancreatitis. The only solution is to uninstall the mod - unfortunately.

@Butch I enjoyed this mod very much. It's well done indeed, so I hope that the devs can give you some insight about the problem and good luck! When it's fixed I'm sure I'll install it again with pleasure. :)

Can you just revert it back for the time being? At least until you get an answer from the devs.

Unfortunately, I haven't figured out why the IV infusion treatment for pancreatitis is causing so many issues. I'm going to wait and see if I can get the devs to look at it but it seems that I'm just going to have to revert back to the original treatment in the base game...

After some time of playing this mod crashes the game, making a popup notification regarding one of the patients loop endlessly. There's no way either to close the popup or clear the list of notifications afterwards. I searched the forums and some people experienced exactly the same issue with the patients diagnosed with pancreatitis while using this mod.
