Hey there! I'm working on a mod allowing the purchase of ships from a race-agnostic list, and this would be an excellent addition to add more Novakid-style options.

While the original creator of Big Iron has released all of his mods with free permissions, I'd specifically like to include this version, so I'd like to ask your permission to do so.

This mod is awesome! I really love the fact that this has moved the back car up so that it isn't a long slog to head back to it, but I'm wondering if there is a way to change the colors of this train in the file? Changing the orange to something else and the train from "space camo" black to a dark grey would be lovely. I know it's kinda nitpicky, but I'm a dork for aesthetic.

Any chance of a version that makes only the front/engine black and leaving the cars behind it red and blue? Helps with the train aesthetic. Having it *all* black kinda takes away from that.

I subscribed to this and a couple of the Better Ships mods collection and now my Novakid ship doesn't have the wall dividers for the wall to the fuel thing, its just there floating in the air

If you have a ship with level 7, just upgrade it and that’s it. But if you have a level 8 ship and want this version, remove objects and items from the big warehouse in the back and then use this command: /upgradeship '{"shipLevel": 9}'
Warning! Uninstalling the mod at ship level 9 will break your ship, use with caution.

@ЧИКИ БРИКИ And we could implement this as in interstellaria, a game that is not updated for a long time but is very good, similar to starbound and everywhere very different in several points, this system has a local map, where you have to control the mouse your ship, avoid enemy fire, manage your crew and the dispersal of tasks and etc ... All that is evoked when talking about wholesale space battle.

you know what we need for this game? SHIP BATTLES! like there's a random chance a pirate ship (not the ones in the ocean) will engage you in a space battle and you get to use those guns on your ship to defeat them and if you are unsuccessful and all your guns are taken out the pirates will board you and then you have to fend them off and if you win the ship battle you can board them but there wont be any space enemies you have to go through to get to the ship, and I can imagine that massive gun just TEARING through enemy ships and destroying everything.

now we just need a ship named Texas Red :P

alright, thanks for that, i was just wondering when i would get the big iron ship, or if there were lower tier versions of the big iron, glad i wont have to take stuff out of my ship in order to upgrade to level 2

@craycairncross An alternative ship will appear if you increase your ship level to 8, yep. If you want a dark version of levels 1-7, second link at the description. (Compatible with this version)
