As broken as the game is now, i have completely lost interest in it. Maybe after some updates and fixes

It is still my favorite! The AP still keeps acting up and I would love to be able to use it again.

well, honestly, still the best helicopter out there, with the fixes to get it to current version its more than enough, i see only a couple of weakness.

as everything, range could be improved, its way better than others so its not needed. The only one thing i miss, appart from the equipment, is a beacon locator, just a simple timer that presents you the time beetwen pulses is enough!

No but thanks. I have an updated/new version but due school and work I cant prioritize it just now. Glad to see that people still are using it though!
What new features would people want?

Hello hesimark, i just want to tell you, ive been fixing some parts of you heli, to keep it up to date, and i was guessing if you want to get it so you could update it, or give me permission to upload it myself, of course, with all your credits, what i did is nothing compared to what you have done.
So far i have:
-Put a lot of equipment, that i have to organize better before upload.
-fixed the Mag all from the winch
-Get all the info from the winch through the composite port of the winch, so the info can go to the heli (i would really like to know whats the last channel you are using, because i had to ""hijack"" 3 channels and i dont like to use then for two things)
-still pending to fix lighting on both winch.

I FIGURED OUT HOW TO FUEL. Due to game updates, you have to replace the fluid connector on the outside with a fluid hose anchor. Should work after that.

I adore this heli, but I cannot figure out how to fuel it for the life of me.

I also have that same question, I have no clue how to fuel it.

hi. anybody experiencing low power on take off, it gets off the ground but then it appears to have a power loss and get down 3 seconds later? very recently from yesterday?

so far love your work. however the auto pilot after the last update started acting a little wonky. I tried to trouble shoot it on my own but your scripting and programming to far to complex for me to find the issue if you have time to look into it that would be great.

Development has been set on pause du to work and other important things. I will continue in time but has no idea of how long. It only needs programming, but it needs a lot and complex programming. It takes time and the game limits how much you can do in a lua script. This new helicopter works a little different from other. It has an advanced full fly-by-wire system that needs a lot of love and work, but is operational and super to fly atm. Hover is something that needs work. I know you are excited, so i will try and work on it soon.

Is the ec225 going to have the features of the as332 like the automatic landing gear and winch lowering when you fall out?

The alt hold system is a bit messed up. Keeps going up and down indefinetly until you reset the system. This seems to happend when you change the alt while the system is on.

I've added a pic of the new EC225 helicopter above. Note: Livery not finished, nor decided about theme, missing a few things like the FLIR.

This has to be my favorite creations I've ever used. I got it last year when it came out and use it weekly as my default mode of helicopter transport. It has so many useful features and I love that I can use the winch in position hold mode. The electrical connector is useful too so you can connect to a generator to keep the ground hooks on when turned off. It has its bugs but I know what they are and how to correct them. Great work I'm excited for the EC225

The connector and the magall on the winch don't seem to want to turn on. Also, can you add flares?

The hold position button needs to be pressed and hold for a sec above the position you want to hold. It needs to verify that its capable of maintaining position (speed, dist, cordinates verification ect). You can use the keyboard, but you need only press the hold current position button. Verify on the autopilot-screen the modes.

The new helicopter will hold position automatic by just hovering. LUA makes stormworks incredible powerful

love to see this updated i try fixing it myself cause i enjoyed this helicopter but was unsuccesful however idk why but not the hold gps postion aint working for me

Awesome! by far one of the best helos on the workshop and it's only going to get better.

The helicopter is tested and should work fine. Autopilot seems to work. Alt function might be a bit buggy, but panic-button is press "2" to disengage autopilot.

the alt hold was malfunctioning when i got within 50 from the ground. It would not hold its position. And how do you get autopilot to work?
