damn, this mod should be updated. also the research giving policy should be buffed, epsecially since you're giving up other potnetially more usefull trading policies (such as the consumer goods one).
also maybe buffing a bit the alloy one.

It looks like this mod is now out of date and no longer functioning as 3.1.1, according to my tests. Inevitable (probably), but a shame as it added a lot.
Jarzz, are you still an active user? It would be great if you were able to update this to 3.1.1.
If you're not able to do so, I'd like to perhaps try update it myself - though I have only a rudimentary knowledge of modding.
