1. I'll run a test game and see if world congress unlocks for me.
2. I am glad you found a way to edit the XP values. I will make a note of this in my 'Additional Notes' Section for those that want to tweak XP rate for recon units.
3. I will also test Gitarja. For now, can you try a game without 'Civilizations Expanded' and see if it still gives you 1 faith per follower?
4. Yes, it is weird but it could be the AI mods as they typically make the AI based on the leader or civ and their preferred victory condition. They all have their tendencies and it could vary;
5. I have not played Hotseat before but having the game freeze in any mode every 10 turns is unheard of. Does it not let you continue the game without quitting? You could test it in traditional multiplayer as well and see if it persists.

1. World congress, is a bug, it never did happen, and dont know why.
2. as the setup of recon units are now at default, all AI recons are level 5-8 before clasical era i done. its WAY to much xp
3. The 1faith pr follower in city for int.traderoutes for Gitarja is really OP. But there is no way to understand where it comes from... Thats the real challenge i Have for you! :-)
4. ABout religions, maybe something has altered AI, so that the ones who dont go for relgious victory, dont bother starting religion, even when they got the prophet. but thats a bit weird..



5. Now in new game in Hotseat, once every 10 turns or so, the game freezes between turns. Do you know about any way to find out whcih mod is causing it?

3. Most civilizations will be a lot stronger than the original game. And I think with adjusted AI and difficulty it is appropriate. Please note that as of this comment, Civilizations Expanded, the mod in charge of buffing civilizations, is still not updated to accommodate the newest leaders of the Leader Pack starting with 'Great Builders.' If you think they are strong, there is a lighter version of the same mod called 'Civilizations Expanded Lite' by the same author if you prefer.
4. I am not sure about religion acquisition as I have had some games with as many religions as there are players and other times only have 4 religions, like you said. It really can be a variety of factors but I assume it is the limitation of the AI with some mods. I can't test it consistently enough to know why.

2. Recon units should only receive 1 XP for every few tiles explored in one move. Are you sure you didn't receive XP by moving over a goody hut or finding natural wonders? My particular philosophy is that scouts should be getting experience for doing their job, which is exploring. Since they aren't (usually) fighting often before becoming Skirmishers, they need some way to get experience other than taking hits from barbarians. There should be settings in the game setup to control the experience earned as well if I am not mistaken.

1. The eras work differently in this mod setup. Check out 'Grand Eras (Project 6T Core)' mod page on this list to know how eras have changed specifically. The former medieval era is now called 'Post-Classical Era' which basically extends the classical era by an additional era. I liked this for my list because I think the exciting periods of the game where war and development of your empire occur are between classical and medieval era in the game without mods. I believe the World Congress begins in the Post-Classical era or Medieval Era, so you should have had it begin.

@djhracak I tried YNAMP a while ago and it had compatibility issues. But this was two years ago so I think testing it and having it load successfully will mean it is compatible. I haven't played Play the World but as long as it loads with that mod in it, you can assume it does.

So i Just returned to CIV 6, made a clean install, and installed only this modlist. I played with Gitarja on emperor, seven seas, everything default.. Have some questions, I would love help with.
1. I have had no World congress yet, around 1000ad(renisance), is this right? if not, how come its gone?
2. Recon units gets waay to much xp by moving. Reduced it to 1 pr 100 tiles(instead of 10), which is more reasonable, but suggest you change it by default .
3. Gitarja seem super OP!! but maybe also buggy. Ex, I get 1 faith pr follower in city, pr traderoute, so i can win religous victory with one holy district, earning over 400 faith pr turn. There is no wonder, zuerain, religion perk, building or Gitarja leader trait that gives this, and it made it soo easy. Anyone knows WHY my traderoutes get this op bonus?
4. In most games before, religions were created very fast, in this game, only 4 out 7 religions is created by 1000 ad,, is this just random, or some bug?

@King Same issue, looks like "Cyp's Wide and Tall" mod is the issue, it updated recently. Remove it from the active mods and you should be good to go.

Also bug where other civs will do join wars with me and I can demand any amount of money and they will pay. Is there a better place to do bug reports or is it okay here?

Bug where it lets me still select civic and research that I have already completed. Shows normal turn time for them even tho they shouldn't be able to be selected.

@alianzoka It depends on what type of resyncs they are. Do you resync every turn after the resync occurs? Or does it stop until several turns later? What mods have you gotten rid of to increase multiplayer stability?

I personally don't feel like the mods I have in my setup are balanced towards any new wonders, as every vanilla wonder has been changed to have stronger effects than wonders from Albro, for instance. There won't be any compatibility issues though, so feel free to subscribe to as many as you like.

I tried to make a modpack with several light mods approximately 120, but the game always desynced my friend within the ~76 turn, even when I reduced it to 80 mods

If you do experience desyncs frequently, you can always disable a few mods at a time and figure out what the offender(s) is/are.

It can depend on the players you play with. Desyncs happen if someone has a slower computer than the host (processor speed). Have the slowest computer be the host to minimize resyncs.

After almost 2 hours of trial and error, I found out the issue was with ARS Improved Policies. I noticed a post from Harold and a response back from the author today on changing the load order. His fix almost worked. For others encountering this:

Quick fix: Disable ARS Improved Policies v1.1 in Mod Manager

Better fix: Open up Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\2480104245\Improved Policies.modinfo and change the 3 LoadOrder numbers to 25600. Exit and reload game

I'm guessing Harold will tweak his patch fixer to address this in the future. Thank you so much for having a great curated list of mods for us that is known to work!

I was really excited about this collection I did a clean install per your instructions and got a 'mod failed to load during startup' upon a new game creation.

Is there a log file I can look at to help troubleshoot this? Yes, I do have all the DLC installed.

Also, is this collection with the current mods still working for other people?

This is the middle of my Database.log file and possibly a clue as to which one is failing:

ERROR: no such table: Suk_GameMode_OverrideQueries
In Query - SELECT * FROM Suk_GameMode_OverrideQueries UNION ALL SELECT * FROM PlayerItemOverrideQueries

Yes, I found out the same mod causing issues. I've since replaced it with another dedications mod and the game works now. Please unsubscribe and update all mods to clear any older mods in your system to ensure the new-look mod list works.

I like Seven Seas and play on it a lot. But I am also a fan of Fractal. Seven Seas always has enough water and land to make any play style suitable, for all the civilizations. And fractal is very random and generates nice land patterns.

Awesome, thanks for the update! About to start a new game. Quick question, for some reason all the mods are loaded when you go into the mod list except for Wonderous Wonders. I just clicked enable to add it to the other side without an issue but I'm wondering if maybe its supposed to not be enabled for some reason or its just a fluke.

I moved out Resourceful 2 as ultimately it is something you can live without and the luxuries it adds sometimes don't qualify as something that can be made in a monopoly. If everything is smooth then I would say consider your issues fixed. But if any crashes happen or odd things during your game, Leugi's City Styles Pack is a good mod to consider on the chopping block as it is custom asset heavy.

Yes also be aware that mods like Leugi's City Styles Pack fall into this category, anything with asset heavy rich mods. Since this is obviously a recent issue with the update specifically, it would be wise to tone down mods with their own assets. I might remove that mod to alleviate the potential for crashes as it doesn't provide anything other than aesthetics, whereas JNR's mod collection is more content rich instead of pretty to look at.

Zimerons solution seems to have worked for now. I just took out Resourceful 2 and now I can load the game without crashes. I am curious if the game is at risk of having CTD's later on in the save or would this issue only affect loading assets for the first time? Also, when updating to the couple of new mods you added to the list June 2nd, would I have to redo the whole install process?

It's looking like Firaxis borked something and it now crashes when too many assets are trying to load at once. Resourceful 2 appears to be one of the heavier asset load overheads, and removing it appears to be enough to solve the crashes for me.

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot by the way, much appreciated. I have tried it with a few different settings. With all of them on except for zombie mode, and then with none of them on. Sometimes it immediately CTD and other times an error pops up saying: "Unhandled Exception Code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Error writing address 0x0." So as far as I can tell, which modes that are on doesn't seem to effect the outcome.

Hi. I have been having trouble getting this modlist able to work. I had used it a while ago without issue but now something is making it CTD right as it tries to transition from the loading a new game screen to to the game itself. I have 100% of the game content and I followed the install instructions and ended up re-doing it a second time just in case I missed something the first time. Any ideas of what could be causing this?
