Yes. They're activated when the engine is running and constantly drain the engine room and cargo hold but they aren't super powerful

A lot of trawlers like this from 70's & 80's were bought from Holland and then the deck was covered in when brought to Ireland / uk. I was doing a similar thing to Deamons Lil Deamon below, trying to sail to the Arctic. But I was doing it solo and with lower speed to make the fuel last. It was all going very well until the wind picked up while I was way out in deep water. I fought the weather for about 20 mins before finally being swamped and capsizing. Shortly after that, the cargo hatch broke open and it vanished into the depths. I particularly like how the lights came on and off while it was capsizing/sinking. I think the auto stabilisation became overwhelmed while facing the really big waves and that is what eventually led to the capsize, because it wanted to lay over on one side very badly near the end. But to be fair the waves were big enough to come right over the upper level of the bow at that point, so I was pretty much doomed anyway. Overall one of the best and nicest ships I have played with in Stormworks.

I've been in state of absolute amazement since it came out, currently making an attempt to head to the artic with a friend, tho we're running the engines at full cap so this means refuel by train, waiting under a bridge right now. One problem i've ran in. The radar and sonar sorta break when you load a save, which is ok. Also the weight compensation system sorta had a hickup and had me listing to the right for a good 5 minutes in calm seas. But still, this is got to be the best ship i've sailed. Keep up the amazing work bucko, seeing this thing sail at sunrise is just so damn pretty :D

i have an idea: a old steamer originally made during the 1910's she has served in ww1 after being hastily converted into a ship fit for battle. many guns jam easily and are badly made. her cargo holds were converted into ammo storage with her guns ontop. along with a morse code room she was fitted with extra lifeboats. many passenger rooms were canged into medical bays and quarters.


sinking:

dynamic sinking: in a compartment in the bridge there will be a button labelled as dynamic sinking, once enough water gets up to her guns water will spill into the ammo storage. closing her watertight doors wont help, as eventually they will crack open, spilling into the engine room, soon her boiler will explode, also igniting her ammo causing a secondary explosion, soon after water will rush in until eventually she will split in half and in a few minutes her stern will sink, adding another victim to the seven seas

Nope you just switch it on and leave it. You gotta find the waves yourself, every map is different

GBDanny really good ship I love it, but I put wind at 100 and it didnt sink, do I need to like switch on the dynamic sinking and then switch it off? but apart from the sinking really works well!

i cant get it to sink in deep water. even there the waves completley shrink and are barely even waves

you should make it so the freezer can open and when its open it turns some of the heaters off to simulate cold air escaping. also we need the return of the mystery meat

I did notice almost a phantom force that made it list, i did my best to correct it but the waves do really tax the stabiliser, best bet is head on
